Our favourite spot in Malvern. A fantastic wine list, friendly staff and delicious food (especially the popcorn chicken). It’s cosy and always has such a good atmosphere… the perfect spot to meet friends for an after work drink, or even stop in your activewear.they are very dog friendly and are always so kind brining our pup water when we arrive. The best!

Dropped in for some wine and share food on Sunday afternoon. Such a cool yet understated and welcoming place. Excellent wine collection, delicious share plates and lovely atmosphere. Perfect for a party or launch too I think.

In the land of wine and grapes so divine,
There's a bar that's truly one of a kind.
Its name is Essie, and its owner Angus,
Are the talk of the town, let me tell you this.

As I walked in, I felt like a kid,
Entering a candy store, oh so well hid.
The cozy atmosphere, it warmed my heart,
The perfect place for a drink and a start.

Angus greeted me with a friendly hello,
And offered a seat, in a tone so mellow.
He showed me the menu, full of wines so fine,
And I knew I was in for a treat, so divine.

I sipped on a red, so smooth and refined,
And couldn't resist the urge to opine.
"This wine is so good, it's like a work of art, "
Angus just smiled and said, "that's just the start. "

He brought out some cheese, so creamy and rich,
And crackers so crisp, I felt like a snitch.
But with Angus' hospitality so warm,
I knew I had found my new favorite norm.

So if you're looking for a wine bar so fine,
With an owner so kind, it'll blow your mind.
Head on down to Essie, it's the place to be,
And you'll thank me, oh yes, undoubtedly.

This place is simply magnificent! Lovely food, decor, service and the Limoncello Spritz went down so well. Generous portions and great value! Extensive selection of food and wine to choose from. Great atmosphere, will definitely return.

A lovely neighbourhood bar with a beautifully curated wine menu. Thomas and the team are very friendly and professional, and I often leave Essie feeling more educated, as they are typically happy to share some of their extensive wine knowledge.

Essie Wine Bar is a great wine bar with a great ambience and relaxed but fun vibe. They have a large space at the front with small tables outside, a larger courtyard out back. As well as cool hallway spots and a fireplace room too. Good wine selection with friendly staff who know their stuff and a great menu built to share. The bolognaise toasties with parmesan is delicious! Definitely worth a visit

Guy at counter was lovely. Put on my favourite tune and had a lovely chat. Out door place was so nice.

Fantastic venue. Angus and the team looked after us in their function room, catering for our staff Christmas Party of 16 people. Service was great, food and drinks were fantastic and the room was perfect for our needs. Highly recommended.

We celebrated a 60th birthday here with a small wine tasting and dinner in the private room upstairs. The wine tasting (6 different wines) was very interesting with Angus answering plenty of our questions. The dinner was delicious, simple food done really well. All in all, a great night and I'd recommend Essie to anyone.
