Essential Offroad

Took my 2021 Dmax for a pre trip inspection and service and was very impressed with how professional and thorough the guys at Essential Off-road were. Won’t be taking my Isuzu anywhere else, very happy with the service I received and highly recommend.

Dan is an absolute legend!
I called up explaining the transmission issue with my 2003 Prado, he gave me over the phone diagnostics, explanations and thoughts, he then asked me to call him back to give him an update on my vehicle once I had completed his instructions.
He took time out of his busy schedule to assist me.
His diagnosis was spot on!
I explained I was new to 4x4 and to forgive me for any stupid questions, he replied;
"The only stupid question is the one you don't ask"

I was only passing through Geelong and these guys helped me as though I'd been a favoured customer for years. Pity is that such a good business is difficult to find. They are a hard act to follow.

Don’t think it’s possible to get better service than what we got on our Nissan patrol. Came in to some trouble with the car and needed a quick fix which is what they provided. The guys that work there really have a passion for the cars they work on and were more than happy to help.

These guys went above and beyond for us at essential off-road and dan is a 4wd wizard. Some of the most passionate and knowledgeable mechanics we have ever come across.
They fixed our rear dif on a troopy, on the same day we took the car to them, not only that but their work was extremely courteous, replacing the seal and slightly bent studs on the hubs. The truck feels better than ever can’t thank them enough!

Dan and his team are amazing. Ive had a few minor issues with my old beast (Range Rover Classic) for years. Their diagnosis, sloution and mechanical service was spot on, and most important, realistc. I tried several machanics before with no positive outcome. Customer service is A1. Im back on the track. Thanks again guys.

Dan's work is amazing. We were on a big trip and went to Dan to get a few things fixed on our Patrol including a tricky overheating issue. Dan systematically tested every single component and went out of his way to get us going again as quickly as possible. Hard to find a mechanic who is as passionate and knowledgable these days!
