Booked a BBQ experience for my father in law's 70th birthday and couldnt have been any happier. Bart was a fantastic host, very knowledgeable and full of stories, Everyone learned something that day. Amazing home and environment, even though it was a hot day, we were very well looked after.
They even went as far as buying a 6 pack for a very picky drinker in our group ;)
Would absolutely recommend.

BBQ Masterclass at EssencebbqLab hosted by chef Bart Beek at his home. Over the course of 5 hours we learned about cooking 6 different ways on the BBQ and tasted 6 delicious dishes. From low and slow through rotisserie, smoking and grilling, we covered the science and the techniques. At the end of the afternoon we came away armed with the knowledge and detailed recipes to prepare the dishes ourselves. If you get the opportunity to attend a session with Bart, I highly recommend it.

I had fantastic time at Bart’s barbecue class. The food was incredible and Bart is an excellent host. The setting was perfect. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon. I highly recommend this. I’ll definitely be back.
