Escape or Die

This experience was excellent, I went with the girlfriend’s friends and we had an absolute blast figuring the puzzles and following the story, and I got a particular thrill watching them all scream and freak out. Highly recommended, absolutely worthwhile! Go with friends and go to have fun, you won’t regret it

One of the best combinations of puzzle based escape rooms and story based excitement. Not to give away to much because it’s truely an experience worth going into knowing as little as possible, but I haven’t some such an immersive escape room almost ever. It’s something fun and exciting very much worth the cost and has something for everyone.

The staff are so helpful and really create such a great balance between helping guide us when we got stuck and keeping us emerged in the experience. They were so patient and guiding it felt like they knew perfectly when to offer us assistance. Plus they really helped bring everything to life with all the effort put into the pre escape room and post escape room debrief. The space too is so perfectly crafted to fit the theme which only makes the experience that much more immersive.

I loved playing along with the entire group and I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Melbourne or looking for something new and fun to do around the city with a group of friends.

Challenging riddles, lovely staff and a fun story. I like that it was a little longer than your average escape room as it felt like we got more impending death for our trouble:)

. The 2 of us have done about 7 escape rooms so far, and this one is definitely our favourite.
If you wished for an escape room to go on just a little longer, this one is brilliant.
You have pretty much 2 hours to do what you need to do. I won't give away anything, however, it immersed us into a very well told story, you are the actual characters. (Nobody jumps out at you)

Please be advised, there is blood and gore (only in the videos) and 1 confronting part.

One of the better escape rooms I've done australia wide. Excellent story telling, encourages you to immerse in the story and really pay attention.

As someone who's played about a hundred games and also a designer, this was an amazing one, and my new favourite in Melbourne. They are one of the only ones in the city that give you a dedicated GM per game, and the puzzles are inventive and flow so well with the narrative. A must-play for Melbourne! Out GM Chloe was so enthusiastic and lovely too!

Honestly is the best escape room I've ever done! I did it with my friend for her birthday and she loved it. Puzzles were interesting and challenging and we loved the host!

Finally got to do this after a few false starts with COVID lockdowns. Hands down one of the best escape rooms I've done. The story really grabs you and there's humour thrown in along with the horror. The puzzles take lateral thinking and it's not all about opening locks.

My only complaint is that there's no way to wipe my memory so I can do it all over again!

We're going to be talking about this escape room for ages. You can definitely tell the team put a lot of effort and thought throughout the escape room. We definitely immersed ourselves a bit too much that we embarrassed ourselves. Definitely will come back for future works.

I HAD SO MUCH FUN! The storyline was compelling and tied well together with the puzzles, which is what brings an escape room up a notch from good to great. I've been to escape rooms where staff just leaves players be for the entire game, but "the haunted house of horror" was the clear opposite of that (shall not spill the deets), so overall it was an engaging and immersive experience.
I would definitely recommend, and I look forward to more of Escape or Die's great work:)
