Epworth Brighton reviews
10 Doctors were attentive, physio was helpful and the food was amazing. Only issue was the nurses. I had on named Helen who would waste my shower products, go through my things, even going as far as going through my suitcase and dumping my clothes on the floor “for laundry” when I didn’t ever make an enquiry. It’s unfortunate because this is a good hospital with lazy nurses.
Another case is when I couldn’t swallow tablets, so they had to be crushed. Some of the nurses wouldn’t mix it into the purée so I wouldn’t know until I was choking because it went into my lungs.
More cases would be telling nurses I’m deaf and they need to write whatever they say down. Majority would yell at me in hopes I’d hear. Doctors and specialists would help me instead and made an effort to communicate.
They should replace their nursing staff. The East Asian nurses were very helpful but the others were very unprofessional
I have just spent a week at Epworth Brighton after have successful back surgery back surgery and wanted to commend the people here. The team and the treatment that I received at this centre was second to none, at all times I was very well looked after and was made as comfortable at all times. I would like to thank every staff member there that looked after me but I also would like to thank Ash (Nurse) to was fantastic and really went over and above in looking after me. I also wanted to thank both Steph's (Physios) for getting me to a place of mobility. The whole team where fantastic and made my stay as good as possible considering the circumstances. Well done to the Epworth Brighton team! And thank you soo much for looking after me.

I recently spent a week here, and am now coming weekly as an outpatient for further physio. I cannot speak too highly about the wonderful staff - nurses, doctor, physios, OT’s, food services staff and admin. Everyone was so caring and helpful, and the friendly smiles were obvious even behind the mask! This was my first experience in rehab, and any concerns and fears I had quickly disappeared as soon as I arrived, and my progress in my recovery definitely exceeded my expectations. Thank you everyone at Brighton Rehab!
Epworth Brighton Rehabilitation hospital is a great place for rehabilitation after surgery. Could not speak highly enough of the doctors, nursing staff, physio, psychology, OT and other staff. The room is spacious with large windows facing a nice courtyard where we can relax on sunny days. Nice selection of meals menu according to my liking. On site physiotherapy with a fully equipped gym and friendly professional physiotherapists.
I stayed here twice for a week in November 2019 and for two weeks in February 2020. Highly recommended for rehabilitation and professional care.
If you have a niggle or a strained muscle come here, however for any complex cases steer clear. Rather go to Richmond.

Spent 4 weeks between surgeries after a motorcycle accident and I received an amazing and very humanized treatment. Dedicated nurses, very empathetic administration, extremely capacitated physioterapists, all together, gives you a holistic treatment that goes beyond than just the problem. Keep the good work guys! My husband was a patient recently. Could not speak highly enough of the doctor, nursing staff, physio, OT and other staff. Communication was excellent as I was travelling back and forward from the country. Highly recommended for rehabilitation and excellent care.
After my surgery I came here for rehab, the nurses are so amazing and caring.
The food is like a five star restaurant.

I was there the second time, asking for a quiet room. Didn't like it the first time, but the physio is excellent. The room was very dirty and the loudest in this hospital, next to the main entrance. The disaster began.the conclusion is never complain, otherwise you get treated even worth. I work in the health industry more than 30 years. This hospital is very unprofessional.
