Today i had a special eye-opening experience at Epping timber the other day. One of the workers, i believe his name is Hayden, really knows how to measure his wood! HE carried all my wood as well and made sure the size was adequate. HE even oiled my wood for no extra cost! Great service 10/10 would recommend.

Rude rude rude, they wont quote for your job without a reason, they simply told me go somewhere else, ok I understand there is a big demand on the timber and a huge storage but I don't think there is any shortage with manners so have some manners and talk nice to to people, yes I am going somewhere else and never again coming back after 12 years.

Lost a long term customer. I over-measured the amount of wood I needed (honest mistake), took the wood back IMMEDIATELY and they refused a refund, instead gave a store credit and charged me 15% restocking fee. Sure it was my mistake, but I didn't use or cut the lumber, and I took it back straight away. Terrible customer service and attitude for long term customers.

Staff don't care whether you buy or not, not friendly, not willing to give any advice. Charge you 15% surcharge on returning goods and will not refund your money but just give you a credit voucher.

Ben, the manager is a tyrant to his team and abusive if you seek to talk to him directly for feedback.

I called on Friday morning and you have helped me with a solution already.

We had a problem with skirting boards we were removing as part of putting in a new floor and couldn't reuse them.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service, head office lacked any kind of experience which was well obvious while my experience over the phone.constantly putting me on hold presumably asking her superior what the hell i was even on about despite me bring quite clear as to what i wanted and when i wanted it.would most definitely not recommend.salesman were also extremely arrogant.

Spent 20k the month prior on timber, manager refused to send someone out to do a site measure for lockup/fix even tho I have used them multiple times prior AND was giving them my business! Just lost my business. Go somewhere else, you will find it cheaper anyway.

I have been a long term customer of Epping Timber and have always received 10/10 service from the sales and design team each time! I would highly recommend this family owned business to all. Colin

This place sucks. Staff are rude and insulting better off shopping at the big green shed. Atleast there they follow Australian consumer law regarding refunds
