Epilase - Laser Hair removal & Electrolysis Melbourne

I've been getting laser treatment here for a year or so now and the results have been wonderful! The technicians were kind and attentive as well.

Epilase are so, so wonderful and I will continuously recommend them to people I know! I really enjoy coming here and cannot thank them enough for their fantastic and extremely friendly service. I have never felt so welcomed, literally the service here is exceptional! 10/10

I get laser and electrolysis done here and have been so happy with the results from both treatments. I've had laser done in the past and didn't see much difference but noticed a big reduction after the first session here. I think this is because the machine they use is new and high quality, and they know what settings to use. I've seen each of the ladies and all have been knowledgable, quick and friendly!

I tried laser 10 years ago and did not have a great experience with it, so ended up tweezing or threading, which lead to folliculitis. Fast forward to a year ago when I decided to give it another go at Epilase. Angela was really supportive of my concerns, listened and moved forward cautiously and I haven’t looked back. I’ve been treated since by Olivia and Uma as well. They are all gorgeous and the experience has changed my world! Hair removal at its finest leaving me with clear skin for the first time in years.

The girls are so lovely and they listen to your concerns and have immense knowledge of the machines and how it all works so they can target your concerns and help you build confidence in your skin! Also so easy to communicate with the clinic when you need to book appointments. Love Epilase!

I walked out of the treatment room crying because of the poor customer service, pressured staff and rough handling of my own face.

It disheartens me to not provide this service with full stars. Especially because I can clearly see that other customers have had a wonderful experience. In my first initial consultation with Epilase, I met with Huma. She was wonderful, kind and very polite. During my consultation, Huma explained the process to me and ensured that all my questions were answered. Epilase usually calls to push back or forward appointment times. This did not bother me at the beginning, but It sure did when it was an ongoing issue. The business seems to overbook all the time.
Whilst undertaking the treatment, after the consultation, Huma ensured that I was traveling OK by asking me, on an ongoing basis, how I was doing. She took the time to hold a conversation with me and made me feel as comfortable as I could. During my second treatment at Epilase however, I left the treatment room crying. Initially, I was running a few minutes late (I live an hour away and so I was stuck in traffic). I called to advise that I was running late, and after 3 attempted phone calls I was able to reach the business line. Upon arrival, I met Angela, who at first seemed like she was under pressure and in a rush. Angela did not greet me nor my sister. The only thing she said to us was 'Sandra? ' in which I replied with 'Yes'. She then directed me to go into the treatment room and so I did. During the treatment, I felt very uncomfortable with Angela, I mainly felt like I was being rushed. Most importantly, I felt like Angela was smacking my face around when she was moving my face in the treatment. Most of the time she was grabbing my chin and moving my head into the correct position, without notifying my first. As the light in the treatment room is very close to your eyes, I was unable to open them. Therefore, I was laying on the bed, not being able to determine when my face was being turned or my neck being repositioned. Angela did not have a conversation with me at all, in fact, she did not even know that I had come to her business beforehand. The ONLY thing that Angela said to me (besides 'Sandra? ' at the door) was 'have you had this treatment before'. I moved on to notify her that I had a consultation and treatment before with Epilase. Angela seemed very frustrated and under pressure during treatment, and this made me feel very uncomfortable. I walked out crying and notified her that she was just a little to rough with me and it made me feel uncomfortable. Angela responded with 'You should have told me' but was not sympathetic what so ever. I walked out of that business crying not being able to catch my breath. NO ONE should ever feel like that after leaving a business, let alone a beauty business. I made an appointment for a third consultation, thinking that it Angela would have been a little more gentle with me. I didn't make it to this appointment. And thank god that I didn't. After asking if I could reschedule, Angela canceled my booking and left me a voicemail to notify me. I only asked if it was possible and did not confirm the cancelation. When I called back, Angela notified me that I had lost my booking and that I needed to go on a waiting list that was not confirmed an appointment. I spoke to Angela about the incident that occurred during my second treatment (where I walked out crying) and Angela was responding with 'I'm not sure what made you feel like that I honestly don't'. Did not apologise to me once and was disregarding my feelings because she did not understand it. When I discussed the customer service Angela responded with 'I don't have the time to have a conversation with you I'm busy'.
NO ONE should ever have their feeling dismissed because another person does not see it as an issue. I cried my eyes out, because I felt so uncomfortable with Angela, and Angela, the owner of the business, did not even care. Disappointing, disheartening and please, treat other people better.

I cannot speak more highly of Angela and the team at Epilase. Angela is incredibly knowledgeable and highly skilled and we always have such a laugh during my appointments. Her skill is top notch and although electrolysis won't be the most comfortable treatment in the world, it is more comfortable with Angela than any therapist i have seen elsewhere and I trust her implicitly.

This is the best laser place I have ever visited! I've been with them for years and I find them to be very professional and helpful. Huma in particular has been very patient with my potentially awkward requests sometimes. It's still painful, but they help me in every way they can and the results are outstanding! Definitely recommend

Excellent! I followed up with Angela for a year (a package of 6 laser sessions). I can see noticeable progress and highly recommend them. I’m so happy that I rarely have ingrown hair. They are professional, punctual, very sweet, polite, and flexible. I felt comfortable and calm in the sessions.
