Horrendous. Awful communication, prices increased that were not contractual and currently its been seven months since I have had the keys and there are many defects which have not been addressed. One of which is the concreting which is pooling with water and causing structural issues.

We were looking to build a custom, functional home that was tailor suited to our lifestyle but was reasonably priced and out of a multitude of builders we looked at Enso Homes, was the most flexible and accommodating to our needs given our budget. We submitted a design that was fully customised and worked with Enso homes through the process to ensure they built exactly what we were after but within our budget. Despite the challenges and delays throughout the Covid period, Enso homes pushed to deliver our home within a reasonable timeframe and gave us constant updates on the build to ensure full transparency as well as properly manage our expectations. Enso were so accommodating that they were still happy to come and fix up any issues even after the maintenance period had passed. The home they delivered was high quality and was everything we set out to do when we designed the home and set out to find a builder to build it for us. Our home ended up winning the Master Builders awards for best build in our category. We couldnt have asked for a better result. Having worked in the construction industry for years now, we were very particular in what we wanted and Enso delivered. The team at Enso were all really good and our site supervisor was fantastic. We will definately be using Enso homes on our next build and highly recommend them.

We built with Enso in Armstrong Creek during the pandemic and had a really positive experience throughout all the stages until handover Feb 2023.
This is our first home and we had a lot of questions and generally had no idea what we were doing. But the team were happy to accomodate changes to the plans and were flexible and responsive to all our questions.
We were happy with the providers and selections available through Gallerie and found that process smooth even via videoconference. There were a few hiccups with item selections not being available by the time the build was occurring, but this was just reflective of the covid times. We were always provided with alternate options.
Joel was a great site manager and always kept us in the loop.
We had only minor issues to rectify on our final building report prior to handover which were all sorted quickly and have only had minor things on our 3 month maintenance period that were supplier related and that have all been addressed.
We really love our home and feel really lucky to have had a relatively stress free build during such a chaotic and unpredictable time.

I am currently building my dream home with Enso. They helped with idea's to save money on our build without compromising quality. We are building in an estate with many restrictions they have been amazing in make sure we comply. We are updated with progress regularly and I am so happy with the progress so far.

Our experience building with Enso homes was amazing. My partner and I had been to a few other builders and were not happy with the floor plan, some of the finishes in the display homes or had too many miscommunications before signing our contracts.
This was not the case with Enso, we met Georgia initially in the lighthouse display home in Torquay (now closed) and were blown away but the quality of the finish, and amazing customer service. Solutions were provided to change the floorplan to our needs, fitting on the block, building to the boundary and an easement, moving walls to maximise bedroom space. Georgia did not hesitate to take the time and care to help us build our dream home and it was greatly appreciated.
We had some hold ups due to covid lockdowns and not being able to access Gallerie in Melbourne. Gallerie was an amazing resource, where we were able to view so many samples, yet still had the flexibility to bring things from the same suppliers that weren’t on display in the massive show room. We understand Gallerie is not owned by Enso, but our customer service from the interior designer was not the same high standard we had received so far with Enso.
When we started our build process, we had Colin for our site supervisor and the brilliant experience continued. Starting in early June we were hopeful to move in by Christmas, expectations were set early that this wasn’t a promise that could be kept due to weather/supply issues and the many potential difficulties that may occur throughout the building experience. Throughout our build Colin was in contact with any potential issues that could cause delays and was able to proactively manage supply delays and availability of tradesman to minimise our delays. He was forthright when things were unavoidable (all the carpenters got covid during the frame stage and without completion of the frame there was no option of starting services, roofing etc.) Specifically around 4 months into our build the project was so well managed that the only delay at the time was tiles for the kitchen splashback and Colin advised that there had been issues with availability and that changing our tiles would likely speed up the process. He provided options that were like the tile we had chosen and were more readily available, we ended up going to the local Beaumont’s and decided on different tiles altogether, but between Colin and Sam (to my understanding this Colin’s boss) we were able to get our new choice in tiles ordered and installed efficiently preventing any potential delay. All the staff were amazing and helpful with any queries we had or if we ever had to come past the office.
In the end our build was done quicker than expected and we were in before Christmas, we love our new home and so far, the continued amazing customer service has continued post handover. Additionally, we also were extremely impressed by the personalisation and gifts in the handover process, but won’t spoil the surprise for anyone else building with Enso. Thank you everyone in the team, I hope we said Colin enough for him to get a bigger bonus.

Aside from a few setbacks which were fully resolved, Enso delivered a beautiful home in a time of covid…. Just amazing. I had a wonderful building supervisor who made the process very easy. Thanks Colin and Thanks Enso Homes.

I have only good feedback for you all. My experience was nothing but exemplary due to you all communicating well and being very responsive to any questions or requests I had. You have a very professional team there at Enso and have maintained this during the very difficult times for your industry. I would like to make a particular shout out to Sam and Scott, you are both very calm and made me feel supported through the period of the build and nothing was too much trouble.

Our experience with building with Enso was stressful and disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone and never build with them again.

Everything was great throughout the sales process (our Sales Consultant is no longer there), and Enso portrayed a premium brand and image to reflect the additional price point. But this is where it ended for us.
Once the contract was signed, we were met with inconsistent information about commencement times and the build duration. We were asked to settle on the land, and they would start in 2-3 weeks. It was four months later that they started. We had extended settlement terms we waived at their advice. Our build took over 13 months from the handover of the land to them for a 22sq single-story house, not a mansion! There was constant moving of goalposts and just an overall poor experience. The colour selection appointment was terrible and made to feel like we were inconveniencing them while we were there. Yes, they use an external party, but still a representative of Enso. We constantly had to point out missed or incorrect things through the build from selections and plans.
We had a change of site supervisor three times, one even being the construction manager, Kieran Cope, who would tell you one thing and conveniently recall conversations differently later on. It’s their favourite line to get out of doing what they say they will. If you request to meet or speak with the Owner, Lee Selkrig, he will never be available or call you. He will avoid speaking with customers about any issues.

To top off our experience, our slab was built incorrectly, resulting in building over the boundary. I asked them multiple times if the slab was set correctly, as our plans had a slim margin of error. I’m no expert, but simple maths showed the answer was obvious. We were charged for the privilege of identifying their mistake and incompetence, which, because they had reason to believe our land title was wrong, we copped the bill. They conveniently held onto the new survey document for months stating that our land was too small when the whole time it was the slab in the wrong place, and we had more land than expected. I met with their Construction Manager even though I requested to speak with the owner, in their office, who agreed they had made a mistake and we wouldn’t be charged. He later “recalled our conversation differently”. We were held to ransom to pay the bill a few weeks before the handover, although the meeting occurred some three months prior and no follow up about the “outstanding bill”.

We are now struggling to have defects fixed (some noted before the handover in our practical completion inspection) six months after moving in. They will conveniently use a Clause in the contract in their favour, but when you point out their breaches, it’s unreasonable to expect defects to be resolved within 21 days as per the contract. Their response time was 56 days (8 weeks), we’re now at 96 days and counting, and haven’t heard anything from them in weeks.

I honestly had the best experience building with Enso Homes. After all the horror stories I had heard about building from friends, along with building during a pandemic I was expecting to come across a few issues, but there were none!

From my very first interaction with Enso at their Torquay display home, I knew I had made the right decision to build with them.

The knowledge, experience, communication, customer service and product that Enso provide are all exceptional. The Enso staff are what made building my new home such an effortless journey.

I could not have asked for a better site supervisor, he was AMAZING. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, honest, always provided me with timely updates and was always up for a laugh and made it such a fun and enjoyable experience to build.

All things considered they have done a great job. Building our house through a pandemic presented numerous challenges however I thank Enso Homes for managing the continual hurdles thrown at them to complete our lovely custom home in good time and especially good quality. We built in Golden Plains Shire and love it!

I have dealt with Enso Homes for over 5 years. The things I have learned about the company are attention to detail, perfection, professionalism, and easy communication. More businesess have to have such approach! Strongly recommend!

My experience with Enso has been terrible, and now after having recently moved in continues to be.
My engineering paperwork was misplaced the day work was scheduled to commence (which was already two months later than assured at time of signing contract), the slab was poured too small for the frame (concrete had to be added after the frame was up), the contract had different versions of floor plans throughout due to draftsman not replicating updates correctly, the selection process for colours and upgrades was I feel not always honest and times misleading to the finished product, the incorrect heating and cooling system was installed so I had to move in without heating/cooling or accept further delays to the handover date, my carpet was wet the day I moved in (last minute dry cleaning done in final hour to rectify muddy work boots marks) and so that delayed me being able to move in day of handover. Once moved it became apparent they had damaged the conduit needed to run NBN cables through and so I wasnt able to get internet right away (especially an issue when your job in remote work/from home) which also resulted in the driveway needing to be dug up last minute to rectify, further delaying my concreters and landscaper team. Laundry door and stacker doors damaged upon instal to the point they cannot even be used. I could go on.
All in all, the communication (or lack of) is horrendous too, with many attempts in the process for updates met with silence. Inspections cancelled last minute. The list goes on, but the worst part is the communication issues and zero respect for their customers time, or keeping their word - having to chase things up over and over to even get a response, and then be fed empty promises.
Something that should be an exciting milestone for people, is ruined by this way of doing business its unnecessarily exhausting and stressful due to lack of comms, process, care and quality (due to their acknowledged mistakes throughout).

Our home was recently completed by Enso Homes and they constructed a quality home delivered ahead of time under Covid restrictions. The advice and guidance we received during the design consultation ultimately delivered us a premium home for a reasonable price. All of our visitors to the home have commented on the excellent quality and design of the home.

When the tradies tell you that Enso is their builder of choice to construct their own homes we knew we had made the right decision with Enso Homes.

Had a great trouble-free build with ENSO! Jo was amazing to work with and made the whole process of choosing colours and fittings much less daunting. I also appreciated all of her design ideas and persistence with getting them approved by the developer.

Started the process with this crowd with my cousin, had 9 very simple changes sent in an email to document. Numerous meetings, requests were ignored then amended, then changed back to original, questions asked not answered promptly, sales person did not know the design guidelines for the estate, just kept sending updated quotes without ever understanding that there were still items not clarified - totally out of control. After 4 months of this process and a report of a very unsatisfactory experience, my cousin pulled out - and yep no refund of her deposit. Having done many builds, and renovations of properties, over 4 decades, I was very unimpressed with this "so called custom builder".

My wife and I are currently building a home with Enso homes and the the process so far has been amazing to say the least. All of the staff we have dealt with through the entire process have been very helpful and really do make feel valued. Our site supervisor (Kieran) has been fantastic in providing us weekly updates of our build aswell as thorough walkthroughs on a regular basis. The house has been built to a very high standard with no corners cut. The saying "do it once, do it right" definitely comes to mind. Thank you Enso homes for the smooth build process.

We had the most seamless and stress-free experience. Every person at Enso we dealt with from start to finish was knowledgeable, helpful, professional and supportive. Our building supervisor made the build itself so easy for us by being open with communication, allowing us to do as many on site visits as we liked and sharing weekly updates.
