Enki Apothecary & Distillery reviews
12Had a great experience visiting with a large group! Tried the seasonal fruit mocktail and it was delicious. The vibes are really cool and it’s a very unique place! The staff were also very accomodating in providing us a space to pray when we needed it
A wonderful vibey atmosphere with lovely workers and fantastic drinks! 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting!
We entered on a cold Sunday afternoon to the most beautiful aromas. We could smell the fresh chai and were compelled to sit on the ever so comfortable velvet sofa.
The chai latte was the best version we have ever tasted. We also tried their ceremonial cacao which was divine.
I walked away feeling so relaxed and calm. I bought some Chaga tonic and cannot wait to feel the benefits.
We will be returning to try the hierba mate today.
We highly recommend a visit here if you’re in Daylesford.
The atmosphere called us in from the street, the soft acoustics invite everyone to speak softly, and the drink we had (The Sorcerer) is simply the best warm drink I have ever tasted! We also received great advice on how to optimise using the tonics we purchased. Everything about this place exceeds perfection!
I visited Enki Apothecary & Botanical Bar recently with friends and had an unfortunate experience. We ordered the "Love Potion #2" cocktail, but it had a strong liquorice/anise/fennel taste that my friend dislikes. We asked the waiter about it, and he admitted that the gin used was infused with liquorice spices, contrary to what the menu stated (vodka). He offered to remake it with vodka and left the original drink in the meantime. Although the correct drink was eventually served, we were disappointed to find out that my friend was still charged for both her vodka cocktail half of the original liquorice drink. The misleading menu and extra charges left us unsatisfied.
We spend our lives pulverising our systems with chemicals that we have been conditioned to believe are helping us.
After being poked and prodded at for more than two decades, I was with finite hope.
Once an array of medical professionals laughs in your face and deems you a worthy candidate of the “too-hard-basket”, one is not left with much confidence in healing.
That hope was restored after just ten minutes with one person at Enki.
Why?
For the first time in twenty- two years, I was not another number to throw a pill at.
After just one month, Taj has accomplished breakthroughs that no specialist ever has with me before. She maps out each protocol with such diligence, brilliance and compassion.
I believe that there is a misconstrued notion that all humans are the same; we are not.
We are equal, though, our individual biology is unique- and that is why this works.
It is with great credence and gratitude that I not only recommend Enki, I thank them and Taj, wholeheartedly, as I embrace this restoration of life.
Oh, and those brownies are a freakin’ mouthgasm!

The place looks beautiful, the food was good, the service wasn’t great - I had actually to chase the stuff to get some food after ordering a beverage. Wasn’t even offered a menu.
A wonderful little esoteric cafe and bar serving herbal deliciousness and healing. Highly recommend
A beautiful place with very welcoming staff, and the cocktails were delicious and finely priced. Would honestly recommend!
But what I don’t like is the taking advantage of the fact that we were tourists by recommending lemon sparking water by multiple staff like it was something you’re given for free, which then comes in a bottle and was charged $10-12 for lemon sparking water, that is completely absurd. Paid $52 for 2 cocktails and water which is a stupidly high price for that much. It was just basic lemon soda-water, I don’t care if it’s “fasting tonic”.
What a beautiful space. The moment you walk in you are filled with warmth and welcome. Food full of soul and heart. Such a brilliant edition to the heart of Daylesford. Looking forward to returning tomorrow for my morning cacao!
Beautiful Apothecary in the heart of Daylesford. Incredible Coffee! Staff were warm and welcoming and provided amazing service. Will absolutely be back!
