endota spa Melbourne CBD, Flinders Lane reviews
45What an amazing experience highly recommended and the staff were amazing especially the lovely young lady at the front counter Olivia she was so accommodating and polite exactly what you want front of house at your business she’s a keeper endota I hope you give her a pay increase:)
Been going to endota spa for years and tried the Flinders Lane one today. Pretty appalling experience. I got there 10 mins early as requested for a 10.45am appointment. I just stood at reception while the lady answered her phone calls. She finally hangs up the phone, no apologies just says can I see your vaccination status then takes me to a waiting area. No would you like some water or a cup of tea. The therapist rocks up to work at 10.45.so I don't get shown to the room for my treatment until 10.55! This would have been fine if the rest of the treatment went smoothly. However it is clear now that the therapist is going to rush through this. I get a whole two minute foot soak followed by a not so relaxing massage. I reckon she bumped into my massage bed about 20 times during the massage. Not once did she check if the pressure was right. I had to tell her to take it easy because it was getting painful. She clearly had not set up anything and kept making all sorts of clanging noises while getting the next part of the treatment ready. Again no relaxation so far. I have the detox treatment which consists of dry brushing and being wrapped in a clay cocoon. Well dry rushing would be more like it! I would have been "wrapped in my clay cocoon" for about 4mins before she rushed me to have a rinse so she could get this over and done with. No explanation of what she is doing. No checking if everything is going well. But to top it all off, she finishes the treatment at 12.15pm.so basically I had a rushed 45minute detox instead of the full hour. Feels like I just sent my hard earned money down the drain. Disgusting experience.
Strolled into your Endota Flinders Lane store this morning around 11am, hoping I could make an appointment, for what? I wasn't too sure to be honest but thought I would discuss my options with the staff. Well how wrong was I, the young attendant at the desk was obviously annoyed that I had interrupted her morning and I was greeted rudely and asked had I made an appointment to which I replied no but I am hoping to make one, she replies, abruptly, "for when? ", um well I'm not too sure I said to myself and told her, its ok I will leave it thanks and walked out. Wow with businesses not doing that well during these trying times you would think a more professional and polite approach to customers would be a priority in getting new business! P. S. Hope your day got better
The spa itself is relaxing and nice. Treatment and service was poor. My therapist was coughing while doing my facial. Her both hands were on my face while she was coughing (felt like over her shoulder). I should have asked her to wear a mask, but I was shocked that this was happening. She also seemed to struggle giving me a neck massage.
I used a gift voucher and had some money left after paying for my treatment. The receptionist even didn’t mention this, I had to ask my money back. Very odd.
My whole experience with endota was amazing. I was very cautious coming to Melbourne during this time and one recent case made me hesitant. I called and discussed things with Alesha and she listened and reassured me. I arrived on time and was taken away and pampered. Prue did an amazing job and seemed to massage me into a zen place. I had the deep relaxation inc a back scrub and jade hot rocks. Would definitely recommend Flinders lane endota
Very bad experience. It was my first time at endota spa. The owner was extremely rude, not welcoming and absolutely ruined my treatment. She wanted to charge me for something I have not done. Very desapointed about the experience.
Had the best time at Endota Spa yesterday!
I had the rejuvenate package and was lucky enough to have a gift voucher, however it is definitely worth the money and I already can’t wait to go back. Rhi is lovely ️
I attended the northern spinal and sports injury clinic, shares premises with endota spa. I've found the physio to be very reassuring on developements that were worrying me. He listened, explained examined then massaged, ordered xrays, set out a plan for hydrotherapy and exercise. The weight that was on me has lifted, don't feel so helpless. Thank you nsasic!
Always see Rhee! She’s amazing, very professional, accommodating, informative! Always leave feeling extremely relaxed.
Best therapy ever. Definitely recommend organic relaxing massage and my therapist Babet was lovely! Looking forward to my next appointment.
Called to Change the date of an appointment but the staff was so rude and unhelpful on the phone that I just canceled the appointment all together. The staff member had no interest in assisting and just sounded fed up over the phone.
Along with that I also had the phone put down on me quite abruptly.
Happy that it has been canceled and will go somewhere else.
Myself and my partner both came for a Deep Recovery massage, which was somewhat relaxing but not really the deep massage that we were expecting - especially when asking for firm pressure and was one of the softest massages we had received. Disappointing.
Superb service! Had a nice time with them. I have gone several spa but the experience from Endota is different.
Went in for relaxation massage, left very relaxed. Awesome treatment, I had a stiff neck when I started and they also applied a bit of extra clover leaf balm on as I was leaving, which feels very warning. Would go again, great service and great treatment.
Felt like a good portion of my “facial” time was used trying to sell me things. I got thing pushed at me for 8-10 min before we started at all. Another 10 min during the treatment I was regaled w other options and packages. 20 min of relaxation, then 5-10 more min at the end going over options in pamphlets, samples of lotions on my hand, options for a maintenance regimen. But I was out in under any hour for my $145! Good thing most of it was a gift certificate.
Pros- clean, on time, convenient location, friendly, good products
Cons - overpriced, super pushy sales techniques, they didn’t book me for the treatment we had discussed on the phone
Overall - I would go back if someone else paid and I made it clear I wasn’t interested in anything else, but I think you can find a better value for money elsewhere
The worst customer service I have ever experienced! I booked an appointment for my mother and sister a month in advance. Four days before the day I rang to confirm the details of my appointment and I’m told that manicures aren’t their speciality and they don’t provide the service. If that’s the case I should have been told when I made the booking not 4 days before! The staff member who answered the phone was incredibly rude and I would never go to the Flinders Lane Endota spa nor recommend it as the customer service is atrocious!
Wonderful little spa in the heart of the city. After work appointments available and helpful staff.
Pretty good place for relaxation, staffs are incredibly professional and caring. The location is great and they constantly having offers, a great opportunity for people to try. They should have a membership program so people would return often, but other than that this place is a great experience for gifts etc.
Endota Spa is an oasis in the middle of the city. Upon entering, I immediately felt tranquil - there was relaxing music, essential oils being diffused and a lovely front desk receptionist greeted me. Down the hall, behind curtains is a beautiful lounge room where I was offered refreshments. I was then lead to a gorgeous room and before treatment began, I got to choose an essential oil to be diffused to ensure a personalized experience. My therapist continuously had firm pressure – a rare commodity when lying on a bed for an hour. The only issue I had
was the inconsistency with the music and being able to hear people outside of my room. Other than that, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for exceptional treatment.
Went for a massage and received a somewhat incoherent lecture about how tight my back was. Shocking development that somebody with a tight back would go for a massage. Would not return.
