endota spa Forest Hill

Decided to get waxing done today something I don’t get done often due to the cost and process in cheaper salons and as we have had foot treatment done before which was good…was great they could fit me in within 30 min but now wonder that it was too convenient with the way I was handled…before I started I explained my sensitivity and tenderness but it seemed to fall on deaf ears to the Phillipino lady - don’t recall her name and wasn’t very personable. I tried to converse but she didn’t have the customer skillset to distract me whilst doing the waxing - the pain caused by not holding skin taut caused me to flinch a few times as well as too much pressure on my legs to hold the patch firm. I also got wax on my hands and dress which wasn’t to concerning but took time to get a cloth to clean it up, again not the main issue other than when I got home and saw the bruising and wax remnants left on legs …. I understand it gets red in places and expected but shocked at the result when its not a cheap salon! I called and spoke with Steph who said I should expect that and bruising can occur with some people…yes when skin is not held taut! Like I mentioned to her and she acknowledged that, somewhat apologetic. She had a generic reply and one that did not help the concern and issues raised, mentioning she doesn’t have the authority to do anything other than pass onto management. I said do what you need and I will write a review so here it is and one to warn people before they visit and pay $$$ for a salon that should be better and take more care. An have staff trained accordingly. Won’t be back for waxing here at all and should have attended Essential Beauty Southland who did a great job last time without any pain and or bruising. Lady at reception this morning was pleasant and why I gave a 1 rating.

Rihanna was my therapist I would definitely go back and request her again.

An incredibly professional and skilled team, who exceeded at creating a quiet, relaxing atmosphere for a professional massage experience. The whole place smells amazing and the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The massage room was the perfect temperature and there was no outside noise to distract from the experience.

Today I had facial at Endota for the first time. Noor was the masseur who gave a beautiful relaxing natural organic experience. Very empathic, a good communicator, good skincare advice and gentle. Thank you

Going back a month or so now, I had a customised facial, massage and bought two products - total was $425. My skin has not gotten worse, but it hasn’t improved. The facial was nice but really felt like i was just having products rubbed across my face and wiped off a few minutes later. Massage was very similar, just a bit of oil rubbed onto my body and then wiped off. I bought a recommended face mask and serum, again my skin has not gotten worse but it hasn’t improved. Great environment, very nice set up and great customer service, but not really worth the money.

Thank you for the team for going above and beyond in fitting me in today. Steph and Jayda were amazing. Appreciate the wonderful service received and getting a last minute appt, especially on a Saturday!

Love the fresh new space and lovely lady who’s regularly at the front counter and answering the phones is amazing and helpful. The only thing that frustrates me with treatments here is the time allowed to change before and after as well as the pre treatment chat seems to mean you lose ten to 15 minutes out of the treatment time. Other than that I highly recommend the soothing stones massage and my skin always feels amazing after an organic facial.

I had the best organic relaxation massage with Rhiannon twice. She listened & understood the areas I needed work on especially my back & shoulders. I always come out floating & relaxed after. The front house staff was very welcoming & friendly as soon as you walk in. Great job to the staff (Forest hill day spa)

I had an intense facial with Shannon for the first time. She was very professional, explained the whole process clearly and undertook everything with such calm and gentleness. She made me feel so relaxed and together with the tranquil atmosphere I felt great walking out of the place. Will certainly go back again! Thanks Shannon

I really enjoyed my facial with Gwen yesterday at Endota Spa Forest Hill Chase. This was my first ever visit to an Endota Spa. I loved the Zen like, calm vibe in the waiting area. It was very quiet in the treatment room. Gwen was very knowledgeable and helpful.

I’m floating after that. Christine was amazing. Best Endota experience I have had in an Looooong time.

Visited the Forest Hill spa today and had a Full Body Massage (60min), actually booked an Organic message but since I asked for firm pressure Bec suggested me the alternative massage.staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bec was fantastic. Bec talked me through the treatment and what to expect and applied the pressure (firm) as I requested.
I would go back again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR PREGNANCY PAUSE MASSAGE.

Endota advertises a ‘pregnancy pause’ package stating it is pregnancy safe/friendly. I purchased this treatment and had it completed at the forest hill endota.

Despite phoning the spa ahead of my appointment to confirm the set up was not in a flat/reclined position I arrived to a flat bed that was not inclined. I had to ask to have the bed inclined to a more suitable height however the technician would not allow me to raise it to a level that was comfortable or safe for me and my unborn baby. Instead I was told it had to remain as flat as possible to ensure they had access to my face. I remained uncomfortable for the entire treatment lying on my arms in hope to prop myself up further. I requested mid treatment to raise the bed again and was declined.

The actual treatment itself was not nice nor relaxing. You receive a facial, brief foot massage and then pretty much 40 minutes of hair pulling. My technician continually had her jewellery/nails catch in my hair-which she stated at the time.

I contacted the clinic to raise my concerns and resolve privately however received terrible customer service so feel the need to warn everyone as it’s obvious it has fallen on deaf ears and you will likely receive the same treatment I had. Instead of addressing my concerns I was told the manager spoke with the staff and I arrived 20 min late (not true), that the bed was raised to a safe and comfortable height during the treatment (not true) and the clinician assured she wasn’t wearing any jewellery (not true). I was also told the manager personally had the treatment when pregnant and she enjoyed it so it must be me not suited to the treatment rather than an issue with the treatment I received. Any pregnant woman knows you cannot lie flat on your back or in a reclined position during pregnancy- let alone for 75min due to the safety risk it presents to blood flow to your baby and self.

The clinic showed zero genuine concern for the experience I had and their only customer ‘care’ response was to insinuate I was lying. After contacting endota head office I requested a refund however was offered a voucher- which I of course declined.

Do yourself a favour and DO NOT GET the endota pregnancy pause package. It absolutely is not pregnancy safe or friendly.

Their so called signature massage is rubbish.
I could have got one of my cats toys with the feather on the end and received the same sensation. I expect this rubbish from the Asian shops not a place like this where they talk the talk and charge you $$$
Will not come back for anything else.
Back scrub was ok product smelt good.

Relaxing spa atmosphere, the rooms are always quiet and not much road noise, easy to park out the front.

I have been at quite a few Endota spa centres in Melbourne and, although quality is pretty consistent, Forest Hill has that little something more that wants me to go back there whenever possible as it's not the closest home
