EMU Australia - Head Office

We bought my 93 year old mother in law some Emu boots last year in winter. She has only worn them inside her house never outside. The sole on one boot has disintegrated in big parts. I have photos. Will you replace them please?

I bought 2 pairs of emu slippers during the covid and they are still going strong! They are a high quality product, showing very little wear after two years. I love the fact that my Oxley’s are cute enough to wear for a quick run to the shops and that I have the option of buying a new sole to bring new life to my slippers. Highly recommended

I love Emu shoes, they offer great design, quality and comfort, they are really well made.

I hope The factory in Geelong will open again, It was a good place to see a big range of shoes.

I hardly ever give a 1 star but this company deserves it. I purchased a pair of slippers from a retailer and the soles started to peel off in the first couple days. In the box there was this nicely printed spill about how the guarantee their work and quality craftsmanship. I contacted them about it, I was about to have surgery and SA had gone into lockdown hoping they could help with repairs ideas or maybe even replacement. The only response I got was they don’t know how to fix them I had to take them back to the store as I had a contact with them, they couldn’t care less that SA was in lockdown, stores were closed and I had bought them because of surgery on my ankle. I highly recommend you stay away from this shonky company who’s so called guarantee isn’t worth the paper it is written on. I am all for supporting Australian business but not when treated like this.

Boots are great, however, I just called head office to ask how to clean the inside off them. The lady I spoke to was very vague and didn't really have a clue on how to clean them. I asked if I could get them dry cleaned and she reckons they may shrink, which is fine, however I had to ask a lot of questions on how too, and she still had no answers. She said, in her very vague way, ummm just hand clean them. I asked with what?
She said, ummmm, maybe just something you'd use for wool (all this whilst she was typing and not really interested). When you pay sooo much for these boots, you'd think someone there would actually know how to clean them. Very poor service by her, very disappointed

The shoes are comfortable however sizing is very hit and miss. Don’t fall for the sales. Read the fine print of the 50% second item returns and exchange policy. It’s not a free exchange for the full price items. Their website has large banners promoting free exchanges and refunds. Reality is, exchanges will cost you the value that you saved in sale because you need to return the item in the large brown box it came in (not just the show box). They won’t exchange the full priced item from the 50% off sale.

Would have appreciated a straight size swap For an item that has become too big due to the wool flattening after two days (tags still attached).

I was silly enough to make a third purchase within 2 weeks at this store. Be careful!

The don't offer free returns with a discount code (which is pretty miss-leading as they offer you 10% off your first order! So you will never be eligible for free returns when you would need it most) The sizing is also NOT standard! So you are set up to be out of pocket from the outset

The factory outlet needs to get its act together! The website says it's open until 5. We got there at 3: 45 last Friday and were greeted by an extremely rude man who said it was only open til 4. He said if we didn't get in by 4 because of social distancing it would be bad luck and that it was cash-only sales. This wasn't mentioned on the website. He was so rude and treated the customers like livestock. Don't bother going.

I previously reviewed the slippers I purchased via a link EMU sent me then received a response saying they weren't going to publish it because 'in this instance it doesn't meet our website review guidelines'. Why bother asking for feedback if you're going to sensor it? ! And my feedback wasn't even negative.this was my review:
I bought these slippers in black in preparation for a hospital stay - something easy to get on and off with a decent sole. I currently have a pair of EMU ugg boots in a size 7 and had to return these twice (the returns process is super easy Though it cost $12 to send back each time) until the size 9 finally fit (because I like a comfortable amount of length at the back)! Overall, I'm very happy I bought these and would buy another pair of Emus!
I have just purchased a second pair of the same style for my father in law and the material that sits under the wooly flap across the top of the slipper is not as good a quality (its a fair bit thinner) as the pair of slippers I have.
