I had previously done CBT with psychologists and wanted to try something different. The somatic psychotherapy approach was very beneficial. Instead of traditionally talking about situations, Sue helped me to go deeper within my self and recognise the emotions and how they affect my body. She has helped me to be more confident in expressing myself and understand my feelings. Sue has a very calming and comforting aura. She made me feel safe and heard. I would highly recommend Sue. She is knowledgeable, respectful and qualified. I am very pleased to have come across her. Thank you Sue for all your help and time.

I highly recommend EWC. Sue is very knowledgeable and helps you to dig deep. She has empathy but also gives you the push you need to face your problems and to work through them. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Sue.

Sue provides a very secure and comforting environment at her practice. I went to her at a time when the foundations of my life had been shattered into a million pieces and she helped me put it all back together again using a combination of kinesiology and psychotherapy.
Sue's many years of experience, her professional and intuitive ability provided the support that I needed to build my life again and has enabled me to grow and move forward. I am a much better person today for it and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is thinking about engaging with her practice.

Sue Dawson is fantabulous! If you are looking for a new perspective, to actively change or create new habits and ways of thinking, she is your gal. Kind, yet firm. Insightful yet supportive. Thank you Sue.

Sue is fantastic and I highly recomend her. After knowing her for many years and having wonderful personal experiences with her kinesiology, I recently took my 5 month old daughter to see her. Sue used me as a surrogate, while my girl happily played in the waiting room with her nana. My daughter was incredibly (and unusually) calm during the appointment, immediately afterwards and in the following days. Sue was able to alleviate a fear that she had of falling asleep - she would scream hysterically whenever she woke or when she was taken close to her bedroom to nap or sleep at night! Getting her to sleep any time/any where, was a painful battle. Sue was incredibly compassionate and understanding throughout the session and I was very comfortable. To now see my daughter without the pain she felt before seeing Sue, and to be able to get her to sleep without a battle is priceless!

Sue has been great during my somatic psychotherapy sessions, and has listened with no judgement and careful guidance. Highly recommended if you have recurring issues that never seem to go away.

I highly recommend Sue. Our 6yo son was having difficulties expressing his emotions after some difficulties at school. Sue was very caring, kind, and showed empathy towards our son and what he had been facing. We were very pleased with the results after our first session. And things only improved from there. Thank you Sue for helping our family.

Sue Dawson has greatly assisted me with issues from my past, which unbeknownst to me, were still affecting my life. I had one session with her where we chatted in depth, followed by a Kinesiology treatment. Throughout this process I felt comfortable, secure and confident. Sue is a proficient, knowledgable and capable practitioner and counselor, and I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking relief with emotional/psychological issues. Sue shows a caring and kind regard for her patients and there is a genuiness about her that is refreshing.

I feel so thankful that I found Sue, such an understanding compassionate person, helping with me her experience and care. To calm my mind, thoughts and to see things clearly.
Thank you Sue so very much

We went to see Sue for my teenage daughter who had the longterm habit of picking her fingers quite badly which resulted in sores and calluses. Sue was very gentle and supportive when dealing with my daughter. After the first session, my daughter understood why she picked and was much more aware of herself doing it. She actually didn't pick for a whole week after the first session! A second session was all we needed to help my daughter break the habit. Her fingers are now looking beautiful and she is very proud of herself. I am so glad we went to see Sue, it was definitely worth it!

Over the past year, Sue has made profound differences for me in many areas. On a personal level through mind and body, she adapts our sessions each week accordingly as the journey of day to day life naturally evolves. Her sessions have also expanded to play truly beneficial roles from dealing with physical and chronic pain in the early days right through to her innate ability in playing a key role for my approach to business, with what I would now class as business coaching. I highly recommend Sue and want to thank her too for making a real difference for me.

I can't recommend Sue highly enough, she helped me enormously through a challenging time in dealing with a health diagnosis. Sue was recommended to me by a friend whose children were helped a great deal by seeing her. She is a very gifted practitioner and I would recommend her to anyone experiencing any kind of emotional stress in their lives.

Sue is a colleague of mine and we have attended many professional development seminars together. I have been really impressed with her ongoing commitment to professional development. She is truly dedicated to staying abreast to innovative changes in neuroscience and trauma research, so relevant for working effectively with clients from all walks of life. Sue has a wealth of experience in working with clients who suffer from anxiety, depression and post traumatic stress. I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for a highly trained and skilled professional in the Eltham area.

I initially visited Sue for kinesiology to deal with my anxiety symptoms which had begun to manifest in panic attacks. Whilst I broadly understood what was happening to me in the context of my history, my usual coping mechanisms were not working. The experience with Sue was gentle, respectful and at all times felt collaborative. We spoke about what became illuminated during the session and at no time did I feel anything was being 'done to me' even though I don't fully understand the process. The result was an immediate decrease in my symptoms and a clarity around family of origin issues. As a somatic psychotherapist, I'm not surprised that by working through the body directly we tapped into my core experience. However through Sue's attuned relational approach it felt like we explored the unconscious without hours of talk therapy. '
