EMIER Second Hand Designer Bags

Made an appointment for 3pm today to view a specific bag. Appointment was confirmed via text message, but within a few hours I received another text advising the bag had been sold. This is unprofessional service - their behaviour does not honour the customer, and whilst they may have scored a quick sale, they have lost potential long-term loyalty from someone like myself.

Treating the customer so that we compete against each other to be the quickest is not how you build a successful and sustainable business, especially in the preloved market. It is actually ironic as I have actually prepared 2x luxury handbags to consign with them too during this visit, but I won't bother as there are so many consignment options out there who would be worth my time.

Also thanks for making us drive all the way into the city for nothing.

Emier is always my first stop for designer handbags. 4 orders later and I’m even more impressed with their fast service and great prices. The photos onsite are clear, detailed and the condition of all my purchases have been incredible. I trust in their authentication process and will continue to shop with the Emier for years to come.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Emier. Despite their promises and repeated assurances, they haven't paid me or provided any information about my payment. To make matters worse, it's been almost a month since my bag was marked as 'Sold' on their website. Additionally, they have been dishonest about their commission. They charged me a $200 handling fee based on their claim that my bag is 'oversized. ' However, when my bag was listed on their website, the dimensions they provided indicated that it was a normal size. They argued that the dimension information on their website is only a rough measurement. It is truly disappointing that they provided one measurement to the customer but charged based on a different set of measurements.

This was my first and last transaction with this company. When compared to other consignment stores I have dealt with, their communication was severely lacking. They didn't bother to keep me informed about the sale of my item or the expected payment time until I followed up with them multiple times.

Based on this terrible experience, I cannot recommend Emier. I strongly advise others to think twice before doing any business with them.

I recently purchased a bag from Emier, and I must say, their service is truly exceptional. What impressed me the most was when I sent them some photos of the bag I was interested in, they went above and beyond to show me every detail. Their website offers an extensive range of options, and all I had to do was book an appointment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Emier; they exceeded all my expectations. Without a doubt, I highly recommend them!

I rarely leave positive reviews on Google, but this time I really want to share my experience with Emier. Emier truly provided me with the high-end service that should be expected in the luxury goods industry, even more luxurious and attentive than the luxury brands themselves. When I usually go to Hermes, Chanel or even LV, I have to act with a low profile and comply with the salesperson’s face. But not only does Emier have a full range of products, but the services provided in the store make me feel really privileged in the luxury shopping process. Next time I want some luxury bags or shoes, I will definitely come to Emier.

I agree with Jo Crenan’s review (1 star given from her Dec 22 review) with her poor in-store experience at Emier. Most reviews here seem to be for on-line purchases.

Whilst my previous 2 in-store purchases and experiences have been ok. To inspect their bags, it is mandatory that you wear a glove (just one) to inspect their bags. Ironically enough, this still leave your other hand (without a glove) touching their goods which was the purpose of why they want you to wear the glove in the first place - seems to defeat the purpose and inconveniences the customer. Also, agree with Jo Crenan’s comment that the glove they make you wear would have been worn by others and totally not hygienic in my view. I was on a hunt for a Chanel WOC, was served by the same female staff (youngish) on both occasions that I visited the store. I found her rude, arrogant and impatient - never a smile - I was greeted with a very sour lemon face the second time I visited the store to inspect the same Chanel WOC- made to feel like I’m some poor pauper who can’t afford to buy their second hand bags. I actually visited the store a 3rd time with intention to pull the trigger on the $3,300 purchase but promptly turned and left the store when I saw the same girl there. Happily bought the same Chanel WOC from another designer consignment store on that same day. This other store even provided a 3rd party (entropy) authenticity certificate at no extra charge whereas Emier will charge $50.

I would buy from Emier if you can’t care about in-store inconveniences and being treated rudely as they do have a good selection.

Super friendly staff. I just WhatsApp to make an appointment to have a look at a few things in person. They have so many options. Really happy with my purchase and would definitely consider buying from them again!

I found the Chanel bag smelled of mould. I also, don't understand why you need to wear a glove which has been worn by many different people when the bags are second hand. Also, the staff were a little rude and impatient!

I purchased a “like new” classic Chanel handbag last week and received it very promptly, which is what I expect when making such a purchase. I hadn’t heard of Emier before but had used other resale websites before like Versitaire Collective. But what I liked about Emier is living in Australia that the item I wanted was already in Australia, versus other websites I didn’t always know or trust where it would be coming from. I also liked their selection. Normally I’ve had to buy hard to find handbags like this one from international sellers, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was available. The package I received was in good shape, the contents had everything I expected from the original box to original protection. They also added a nice touch, a box of Belgian chocolates to add a little bit of luxury. Overall I’m pleased and would purchase from them again.

I placed an order from Canada and I couldn't be happier with the whole experience! Emier's customer service were quick about getting back to my enquiries and went above and beyond to help me out. My order arrived earlier than I expected and in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

Thank you EMIER, excellent customer service. The Loewe bag I purchased was in better condition than I expected, it still even had the clear protective sticker on the hardware. I will definitely be purchasing another bag in future.
