Might be a good cause but ever since doing these magazines i have been a victim of constant bullying from scammers and other suspicious characters.

Extremely Rude! Use bullying tactics when trying to sell advertising. You will get no work from the advertising.

Great cause anything that's supports emergency services is great. Our business has been taking out advertising with emergency services publishesfor years and it's be worth every penny.

Tried to explain that I didnt want product. Pushed me into it anyway. They also took an unauthorised payment. They must of kept card details from a job before which is very very concerning.

This business is quite honestly the worst I have ever had anything to do with. Please do your research before committing. Plenty of information out there for anyone who has doubts. I look forward to seeing the ridiculous and fake response the owner gives to this review and cant wait to use their fake cease and desist letter as toilet paper. Update, Have just been informed that lots of the positive reviews they have are from staff, friends and relatives.

I've run many support ads in emergencies publication. Great initiative for small business and helping our emergency service with the magazine cause.

Beware! If you think you are making a donation, you probably are not. Below: how I stopped them calling me.

Late 2018 (October?), I was cold called and made what I thought was a charitable donation to a NFP in support of a police conference. I was clear from the start that it was a once-off donation. Over the following months I received multiple aggressive phone calls asking for support. Each time, I declined and asked to have my name removed from the call list. I was variously told that they would remove it, or they would ask another person to. I even phoned EM and asked for calls to stop. I found most of the calls aggressive and persistent.

In January 2019, I was still receiving calls, and so I emailed the Police, Ambulance and Fire Services (CC EM), and explained how EM was using public support for their services to solicit what seemed to me to be a request for a donation. As near as I can ascertain, EM is a magazine publisher looking for people to pay for advertising space in magazines like Police Science. The way they do it though makes it seem like a donation request eg "The Police do a great job don't they? Would like to support the Police. " (no mention of a magazine, and no correction when I say I will make a donation) I should have realised when the invoice included GST.

After my email, EM contacted me and blocked me on their outgoing call list. I made clear that I would refer any further solicitation to the Police. This was the first time it was made clear to me that these were not charitable donations.

The calls stopped.

That seemed like the end of it, until today (July 2019) when I received an unsolicited copy of the magazine "Police Science" as thanks for my support! Seems like a quality magazine. Just not one I want. Oddly, the magazine arrived with a flyer warning me about fraudulent publishers.

Once in a while I will get a call from these clowns.

These con artists are targeting gullible business owners, pretending they are from Vic Police or the Ambos, trying to sign you up for an ad in their magazine and making out as if this will help the families of police officers killed in the line of duty.

Don't fall for their dirty guilt trips!

Why do I keep getting getting calls from people who are clearly impersonating police officers and asking for donations? I managed to track the number back to here and I see others are having the same issues. I would like answers please. I'm going to find out who to report this company to as surely this cannot be legal. PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT THESE DECEPTIVE AND DECEIVING CALLS ARE ALL ABOUT EMERGENCY MEDIA!

Quick response to your follow up:
1. My reviews were indeed made the same day as that's when I set up my account and decided to leave a few reviews, wow, big deal. IDIOTS!
2. Typical copy and paste response from many business owners/staff when a negative review is left is 'we don't know who you are so therefore your review is fake'. No one believes or takes seriously these rubbish replies!
3. LOL! You can't trace people like that you fools! Weak intimidation tactics won't stop people from exposing the fraudsters and bullies that you are!

I was asked to write a review by the company after receiving my copy of journal, given there is so much junk reviews here. I posted photo up of the journal - all legitimate.

Had a fantastic experience all the way from initial contact to production. A legitimate operation.even went in to the office to make a payment being down the street. Few guys were playing with a frisbee in the office but at least they were friendly enough to join me in

Called me trying to impersonate the Police. This company does not work for or represent the Police in any capacity and what they are doing is blatantly illegal.

They appear to target small business and try and initimidate them into buying useless adverts on some of their own magazines.

Avoid them at all costs!

When I answered the phone call they tried to pretend they were the Police.
When i started asking questions like “What Police station are you from” or “What is your badge number” etc they told me the truth.

After being caught red handed as straight out liars they then had the audacity to start asking for personal information like my banking details etc

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

WARNING! I believe they are a scam organisation and should be shut down immediately! They ring you using false names - pretend to be from the police force seeking donations etc and when you probe and ask them questions about who they are they abruptly hang up! SCAMMERS!

Very unprofessional avoid dealing with at all costs. Advised I would help with supporting the NSW fire service after a cold call claiming to be working with the fire service. The company contacted me once for payment then sold straight to debt collectors without any more effort. Very dishonest business model and people. Snakes in the grass

I'm always happy to support emergency workers but the sales people that call incessantly to advertise in these publications are so pushy and sound so insincere that it always screams 'scam! ' to me. I'll be avoiding them.

They have been calling me on a weekly basis for over 6 months now! I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling me however they refuse to stop! They are worse than debt collectors! Horrible company!
