Excellent for families.kids will surely enjoy, along with the adults.staff are very friendly.and price for the paddle boat hire is reasonable. 15 aud for 15mins 2people.

Visited on a hotter day. Opens at 12pm on the dot. Water is cold but its nice especially in hotter days.
Great option for kids and parents to cool down in.

Beautiful and serene place best to reach by puffing billy heritage train from belgrave to lakeside.

Awesome place, the scenery is wonderful and relaxing. There's not too much here so make sure you bring water, snacks, your dog, your cat, your frog, or whatever else you're into. Stay hydrated.

Beautiful lake, we took a puffing Billy train ride and this was the stop at the end of the line before heading back. Would love to drive back up so we could look around a bit more and take our time

Famous spot among tourist to get off puffing train and have a picnic. There's not much food you can find here so equip yourself with load of supply and water. A trail in this area is nice and serene. Dogs are welcome.

This is a really beautiful place to stroll around, especially now as some of the trees are turning crimson as Autumn takes hold. The Lake and old Railway Station that the Puffing Billy stops at really makes this place special.

The best fun, pack a BBQ, walk over the bridge, visit the train track house and ride on the water bikes. Kids park was awesome but not big enough.

Emrald lake is one of the puffing billy station. This is a nice little picnic spot with bbq, lake with paddle boats. Miniature train model which is superb kids will love it. Ample parking space and walking and trekking paths.

Emerald Lake is a very nice place for a family day out. There is a café to cater for the light visitors and there are electric areas for barbecues or warm your picnic food. There are children's areas with swings, seesaw, climbing rope to keep them busy. You can also hire a pedal boat to enjoy the lake.

Must visit family picnic spot. The paddle boat experience was good but a bit costly at $15 for 15 minutes.

How lucky are we to have a FREE pool that has guards and is deep enough to swim in but shallow enough for little kids to stand up in. One of the best things about living in emerald. I love hanging out at the lake park and watching the Pukekos and ducks while the kids swim!

Nice and clean, great addition for families while picnicking or having a bbq, however the operating hours should be longer, especially during summer and daylight savings thats the reason for the 3 stars. Would be higher if the pool was open longer hours.

The place is good with Bike Pedalling, a quiet water sides with still waters were the birds and ducks have a quiet respite from their flying.
Loads of ornamental fishes here.
Some people fish here too.

There is a duck inside the swimming pool whose right leg is swirling by a fish wire. It looks in pain and can hardly walk or swim. We tried to call the manager office of the park but nobody answered the phone. Hope someone can read this note and save the duck!

This is such a good idea. Free pool with life guards. It's about half a meter to a meter deep but a great way to cool off.

Great place for a family day out, or other.
Lots of fun when the weather is right. Prices are fair too.

Good place for a family gathering as there are kids play areas, BBQ and Paddle boat rides on the late.
