Elwood Park reviews
21Great park, come check it out yourself. Parking is not free. Especially in spring and autumn it is very beautiful.
For picnics, kids playgrounds, outdoor calisthenics gym, dog walking and dedicated training area to a skydiving landing zone, Ellwood has it all. Separate walking and cycling paths lots of sandy foreshore for sunbathing and grassy zones for those who don't do sand. Great views of the city and bay abound. Get amongst it
Great place to visit, great walking track right against the beach front could walk for miles, the ocean view is amazing, and playgrounds dotted along the area for kids.
Not very nice. Nothing much done to it in years.
Only those who understand irony may attend.: -)
Great place for a dip after work on a hot afternoon. With the new kids playground awesome place for a picnic with the family too.
Found this great hole-in-wall cafe at Elwood Park. Good place to walk midweek. No crowds. Easy parking.
Couldn't play frisbee with my son because the seagulls were interfering. I want to go back to the life I left behind
Cute little park just behind Elwood Bathers, easy access to the beach and parking.
Oct 21-May 22 it's home to a local artisan market every third Sunday.
Also near the yearly triathlon series January to March on Sundays, which may effect traffic.
Plenty of rubbish bins and tables.
Kids playground and drinking fountain (though this is currently broken).
Great bay beach and walking/park options. Review is weather dependent, cold and windy conditions dampen the experience.
Views galore great comfortable walking bath. Beach and water not as clean as other beaches around melbourne
Lovely vibrant beach with city views to the north. Plenty of parking and great for a swim or other water activities.
The beach is ordinary as usual, better if you live close and can walk. The car parking fees are horrendous.
Photos of the beach just infront of the park. Good setup and nice beach. Public showers at the beach entrance. Some gym equipment to use as well, nice touch.
Ive always loved Elwood beach from a kid & still 30 years later, good family friendly beach, a couple of ovals on the other side of the car park, great for a picnic & for the kids to run around abit more.
A great park with amazing views. Located right on the water, from the park you can see the city buildings, West Gate Bridge, Spirit of Tasmania and the natural beauty of Port Phillip. The park has a great playground with some water activities. Also, part of the seated area is shaded with cloth. However one of the playground equipment items seemed broken.
Not far from St Kilda beach but you can avoid the rush. Plenty of parking. One of the best beaches to go to.
Awesome spot to start your walk, exercise and then such a lovely spot to sit and catch your breath or sit and chat.
No swings, just the empty frame where they used to be. Kids had fun on the equipment that was available
Not bad. It's good for families and best during good weather conditions. Good for picnics and nice grass grounds to chill and lay by
