Elwood Organic reviews
7A great little store. Mark the owner is a wealth of knowledge and great to have a chat to. Prices are very competitive and reasonable. There’s a fantastic selection of plant based treats.
Fantastic place! Just recently got a re-vamp and it looks great. All the food in there is delicious and they have an extra range of other goodies too.
Thanks Jason and Mark for great wholesome and affordable organic produce. Jason I really enjoy our authentic, warm and ethical conversations.:) I have been a customer of Bruce’s for 20 years and I am so impressed with the shop. Thanks for educating customers on true health by following a whole food plant based diet.
This place is amazing! They are true organic and worth the little bit extra! Plus any questions get answered and explained! Please support local and try this amazing shop!
Bees knees, I love this little place!
All organic
I got a water filter from them & they were nice enough to test the water for me with a TDS meter, really good quality filter, thanks guys
The new managers (Mark and Jason of VegVic) have made this place/food a lot fresher and cleaner whilst maintaining healthy ethos that Bruce espoused. Prices are pretty good, too.
Bruce’s Organic is one of the “true” institutions in Elwood, — even though such epithetical usage is also epithalamic (never epitaphic). The fine vegan who founded this shop, Bruce Standish, has passed on for his next assignment to the verdant pastures in the sky, but he lives on terrestrially, and his spirit inhabits all the sacred spaces around the shop and his ample garden! The choice of organic and nutritious fare has even increased after Bruce’s departure (kudos to Mark and Jason and others), and when you pass by many of the other shops in Elwood village, don’t tarry until you have reached Bruce’s digs. Look around and buy what feeds more than body. Then saunter down to Elwood beach, chewing on a plum, and let the open expanse of water take you out further and further to the zone where heaven and earth connect.
