Eltham Farmers' Market reviews
26Good little place, nice stalls and products, just disappointed it's in a carpark and not somewhere green, like a field or park or oval
Happens every Sunday. Great range of produce, baked goods, meats & food stalls. You have try the falafels! They do frozen take home ones too. And if bacon is your friend, then Butts Smokehouse will have you grinning ear to ear. Get in early as stuff will sell out.
Beautiful farmers market with fresh and local produce. Stalls included honey, garlic, chilli oil, fresh vegetables, eggs, cold meats, dips and hot food and coffee.
Our favourite stall was Kanelle (Caribbean & French food). The pies were amazing, loved the Caribbean chicken pie and the Mushroom ragu. They were the best pies I’ve ever eaten! They also have a range of French desserts, all very pretty and delicious. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, highly recommended eating lunch here! Overall great atmosphere for. Sunday market
Love this market. Each week is diff and always a fun outing. Good options and great stalls with quality organic veggies etc.live music on most weekends and lovely locals
Would be great if there was more seating & shade available to sit down & have a coffee & bite between shopping at the various stalls.
Eltham Market kept us fed and sane during lockdown and continues to provide healthy, quality, tasty produce, all year round. Every Sunday I am there - rain hail or shine.
Great atmosphere, would recommend the gosleme stand or the fresh pasta there every Sunday morning.
Such a great market with a diverse range of stalls. The operation of it is safe and caring in relation to covid restrictions. It feels like a safe and structured environment. It would just be nice if people visiting wouldn't ignore the clear instructions of not congregating when it is repeatedly mentioned over the microphone. Keep safe and thank you to those who are careful for the sake of themselves and others around them.
This used to be a good market where all families including dogs were getting there having fun while supporting the local farmers. You killed the sense of community by not allowing dogs in.
Love the eltham farmers market! Go here all the time and love buying locally grown produce.stall holders are all lovely and there is a great atmosphere.
We love the selection of local farmer's fresh veggies and fruits. A pretty chilled market, good for grabbing a coffee and walk around. We bought a bag of Jonnie APPLE from an apple van, wish we took a picture of the business, cause it was super delicious!
Eltham farmers market is one of the best for growers that sell their own produce
a rare commodity these days
Love Eltham, lived here for my whole 15 years of life, love the hills to ride my bike on. And yes the farmers market is nice, but not very big I think compared to other markets in Vic.
Love this small setting of the Farmers Market in Eltham. We love to go there for the Yummieh Scones baked freshly by Anja and Michael. Also the Gluten and Wheat free Muesli from the Mrs and Co.perfect for a nice breakfast!
I love this market, fresh local fruit and vegetable.
Some of my favorites from this market are the italian handmade biscuits! Definitely one of my favorite discoveries, great tasting cookies, loved the pistacho and amaretti ones.
Also the tomato stall has great tomatoes that actually taste delicious, specially the green ones.
Always look forward to my weekly visit. Great stalls, fresh produce and friendly crowd. Highly recommended pasta, sauces, veggies, fruit, condiments, meat, fish, cheeses and baked goods. Some stalls rotate so keep going back.
The best place in the north to get everything for the week. Best produce, lovely feel and a great spread of stall holders. There’s always such a beautiful community feel on a Sunday.
I come every week to get eggs and some veg. Today there was a man selling Italian cookies next to the mushroom tent, they looked noce so I bought some. Let me tell you they were AMAZING. Was not expecting such a wonderful cookie experience.
I just come to the market and my dog is allowed in for hygiene reasons.there is no hygiene reason why I shouldn’t be to bring my dog on a lead. I’ll take my $300 per week and not spend it here until you wish to change the decision
We've bought a number of shows here for our kids over the years and the service has been great and attentive, and the range is good too. They involve both the kids and parents in the decision making which is nice too. My son is very happy with his new shoes and hasn't taken them off since he got home:)
