Elmore & District Machinery Field Day Inc. reviews
2510 km walked! Big venue, comfortable shoes, heavy rain first day, poor attendance! Following days better! Same as last year! Stall holders too numerous to mention! Lots of bargains!
Great show, well organised (many thanks to Harriet in the office), great range of exhibitors, and facilities. Quite dusty, from an exhibitors perspective, in the Agricultural Pavilion on the last day.
Great place. Not a melb show more for farmers and country people. Good for a day out. Plenty of food and drink stalls.
Have been attending for about 15 years. Re opened this year after Covid. A great day out for all.
Had a great time, exhibits were wide and varied, just great to see the regions and people back enjoying themselves
We actually stayed there for a motorhome rally. There are plenty of toilets and showers and the ground is pretty level, good for setting up camp on
Very good - recommend to country and city folk brings farm equipment, goods and services to the one place. Plenty to do and a fun day for all ages
34th CMCA annual rally was held at the Elmore field days in October 2019. Access to power and water, toilets and showers. Site was maintained daily basis and with a water truck, spraying the roads to reduce dust. Area accommodated 820 motorhomes, campervans, 5th wheelers, caravans and other mobile accomodation. Plenty of sheds to accomodate for entertainment, crafts, seminars and workshops and sales.
Trees and shade was limited. Water was carried in by water trucks. Use of power was limited, no heating or air conditioning, as instructed by the CMCA to reduce costs as well as use of water.
Spread over several hectares, this exhibition of farming and agricultural related paraphernalia has something for everyone. A great day out. Mobility Scooter can be hired.
Good if you are looking for farming equipment. Be warned though that there were no show specials that were cheaper than you could buy anywhere else over the counter.
Great time. Plenty to eat and drink. Parking. Hiring of electric scooters. Lots of tractors, farm machinery, tools, compressors etc.
Great for kids, plenty to do. Good facilities, The new initiative to have comfort fires is a good idea. We had roasted marshmallows which the kids loved.
I'm here every year and I would encourage any & everyone else to visit. It's just a fantastic event for the whole family.
Quick tip: Bring your own packed lunch but, you'll save heaps of time & money and it will be better for you. Thank me later.
Was a good day out except bar ran out of rum and the hot backpackers chics wernt serving cheese kranksys
Always a good day out. Lots to look at, heaps of tools (some good, some not so good). Would like to see an improvement in the food available and variety, i.e. Less junk food.
A great place for Farmer's and their families to look at products, the Cattle are too far out of sight, didn't know where to find them.
Great day out. Beautiful weather. Good country feel to the day. Fabulous machinery. Great animals on show.
It's a must see, wide variety of machinery and everything else related to farming and general household living, solar panels, tanks etc.
Need more entry paying windows open in the mornings or at least a cash line and/or a card line. Food preparation from the vendors could have been more hygienic. Plenty of big players with machinery. Stuff for the kids to do. Would have been nice to see more "female" types booths. Only saw a Janome tent. Overall a good selection of stalls.
