Took my 4 year old here for swimming lessons. She has cried almost every lesson and she doesn't usually cry. Normally loves swimming but have had to stop taking her here as her love for swimming is diminishing every time I take her. The teacher uses threats of getting out of pool, taking toys away, etc to try to get her to do what she wants - I have tried to discuss with both teacher and reception on how to manage the situation - that threats is not the solution, distraction and fun is a better alternative - unfortunately it has either fallen on deaf ears or incompetent ones. It is the third week that we have skipped a lesson, they haven't called.
