Elio Italian Family Bistro

After coming here for many years i have never been treated the way i was last night. Pizza come out almost 30 minutes after my wife's main meal and because my wife and daughter was wearing a mask when i asked to have the rest of my wifes dinner put into a take away container it was handed back to us along with the container and told to do it ourselves. Like we had some kind if disease. Walked out very violated never again.

Pizza base was nice an thin, ordered margherita, never knew Margherita doesn't come with tomato!

Every time I come here the food is always A1, I have not come across and bad food or the customer service, I think for those who are bagging the food or services are just people from other pizza shops or restaurant's that are loosing customers to him.

Ordered the pasta with vegetables.and essentially just got the ingredients with no flavour whatsoever.

The pasta had large pieces of uncooked carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. The tomato sauce was essentially just tomato purée which was bland.

The “Italian” salad had a white coleslaw dressing and was dominated by a leaves of lettuce with a few slices of mushrooms and onions.

The potato chips were by far the best dish we ordered despite smelling like old oil.

Extremely disappointed!

Finding most of the pasta orders unccoked. Flavour of other mains bland.if there has been an owner or chef change.not working out well.

Really friendly service, put some of the food is undercooked and dry. I’d feel bad for anyone who gets sick.

My main meal was okay but my oysters natural were tasteless washed out oysters that were not natural. It was obvious they were bagged oysters in reused shells. Seems common these days. Killed by patrick you can't tell how washed out and flavorless they were. Worst I ever had I had to squeeze all the lemon slices I had to get some flavor as the sea salt flavour was zero.
I have been there before and it was okay.

Ordered large size pizza (half veg and half hoppers special), taste was so bland, crust not well done, toppings were so little. Overpriced.

Always go there, the owner is a great friend of ours. Famous for there pizza which is delicious

Good last minute place to order dinner when you dont have time to cook. The food is take away quality, the pricing i felt is a bit too steep for the food offered, their pizzas are the best from the menu.

If I could rate it lower I would

Ordered spaghetti off menulog. It was so salty I had to put it in the bin

Not to mention the delivery driver left my order on the fence outside in the freezing cold and expected me to walk outside of my townhouse and leave the front to go and get it

Pathetic. The garlic bread looked like wet newspaper

Never ordering from here again

Pizza is very dry no cheese ham burnt and hard crust too crunchy and dry
Very disappointed 2 years ago the pizza was awesome now it’s not worth the price $17.50 for a large dry pizza with no cheese: (

I wish i could rate it 1 star I don't see how some people like this place in my experience it is way pricing not enough topping and my Aussie Pizza the egg wasn't cooked egg was very runing definitely not going there again waste of time but how ever if u ever go down Werribee great pizza joint and large pizza only for $10 cookwell a lot of toppings

I took my sister and mum they both had veal scollop both veal dishes were hard and tough they could not eat the veal. I had a pizza i asked for extra anchovies their was not one anchovie on it even know i paid extra. The staff were very good and nice shame about the food we will never return to this resturant beware.

From the moment i walked in I was glared at by the employees and definitely didn't feel welcome. I ordered no problem however waited 20 minutes for my pizza, I could understand if they were busy but they weren't. One person was making pizza while the rest of the 4 people stood around and chatted inappropriately.
When I received my pizza it was alright the crust wasn't the best but when I felt the garlic bread I wasn't happy. There was 6 very thin slices of garlic bread which was cold and the crust of the bread was chewy and hard.
Not a place I would recommend.

Nice simple place, good efficient service and the pizza was nicely cooked without being super tasty

THE FOOD WAS FIRST CLASS WENT THERE FOR MY SONS BIRTHDAY HE ENJOYED THE PIZZA AND THE PRAWN COCKTAIL VERY MUCH AND THE SATAY CHICKEN PIZZA WAS EXCELLENT

My family and I have eaten here for years on a regular basis but never again. Tonight I ordered online and when the delivery driver arrived he pointed out that whilst I had obviously paid for more they only received confirmation for 2 items so that's all I get. I called the restaurant and spoke with Michael, the owner. He was instantly defensive and hostile. He acknowledged that they had seen that I had obviously paid for an extra meal but said it's not his problem, what was he meant to do about it. I pointed out that the receipt showed my contact number so they could have called if they had realised. Again, not his problem and if I had an issue to contact the company I ordered through. I told him I had ordered through the restaurant website, this turned into a blame game. After a lot of back and forth, non of it remotely polite, he finally agreed to make my meal but refused to deliver it, I'd have to pay another delivery fee. I said that I would just come and collect it. Before I could tell him what it was exactly that I had ordered he hung up on me.
Checked the email I received from the restaurant and it had the entire order so not sure how they can say they only got 2 items.

I'm a pretty chill person but this kind behavior is poor form.
