My daughter joined elevation dance studios part way through the year. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and my daughter loved it so much that she soon signed up for more classes. With the help of wonderful teachers, her dancing has really improved. Alex has created a vibrant, friendly and caring space that all her students clearly love spending time in. I highly recommend this studio.

Since my daughter joined Elevation around 3 years ago (at the age of 9), Alex and the Studio have been nothing short of amazing. It is run in a highly professional manner, with dance students feeling such a strong sense of belonging and connection to it. My daughter has loved her dance classes (she does around 6 different styles of dance) ; she has loved all of her different dance teachers, and as I look on from a distance, I can see that she continues to thrive and blossom in the nurturing dance studios that are Elevation!

My children have been doing classes with Alex and her team for over over two years now. They love their lessons, the beautiful studios and interactions with their peers. Elevation is a welcoming and supportive environment which is not at all pretentious and caters for kids of all abilities.

Being a part of the Elevation dance classes has had a really positive impact on my youngest girl in particular. She seems to have found her "thing” that she loves and is quite good at. This has created momentum in other areas of her life and has had a positive impact on how she engages with her school work.

The Zoom lessons during lockdown have been extremely worthwhile. Although the kids love the studio, they are alway happy to see Alex's smiling face for live lessons after long tough days of home school. Alex does a superb job of keeping the kids upbeat and hopeful during difficult times. She listens to any concerns they may have and explores with each of them in turn what they have enjoyed during the week, putting them into a good "head space" before launching into the class.

Most importantly Alex (and her team) set a beautiful example of resilience during times of uncertainty and change (for the kids and their parents!)

We hope to be part of Elevation dance school for a long time.

My daughter has been dancing at Elevation for the last 4 years and she has developed a love and passion for all types of dance. On line classes have continued seamlessly over lockdowns and this has been such a relief for Rose as she can continue to “see”her friends on zoom and can keep dancing! If you’re thinking about enrolling your child or yourself into a class at Elevation, I would thoroughly recommend it. My 14yo daughter has been learning at Elevation for over 4 years now. Alex Andrews, the director, is a delight. Super professional, organised, kind and so very supportive of the students. She has managed to employ a terrific group of dedicated teachers who clearly love what they do. Alex has also being so supportive, encouraging and positive about all the stop-start Covid restrictions and going into lockdown. The classes are stimulating and fun. My daughter has also made many friends. Don’t hesitate to try a class.

Cannot recommend this studio enough. Provides a nuturing and inclusive environment for kids to learn some skills, keep fit and have fun. Alex and her team were able to keep dancing through a difficult 2020/21 through persistence, hard work and a never give up attitude. Keep up the good work!

I cannot recommend this dance school highly enough. My daughter has attended 2 other dance schools in the local area and I can confidently say that if you are looking for a dance school, there is no need to look any further than Elevation Dance Studios. In just 6 months our daughter has blossomed - her confidence has grown and she now cannot get enough of dance, dropping all other activities to do as many classes as she can! Alex finds that perfect balance of inspiring children and young people to work hard and reach their potential, as well as making it a whole lot of fun. She is encouraging and kind. I feel so happy for my daughter that we found Elevation Dance Studios - it is a very special and joyful place.

Wow what a great 18mths we have had since joining Elevation Dance Studios, from the first time I made contact the experience has been wonderful my daughter has developed her skills and has found a passion for dance and movement. Alex is wonderful with her students and her passion for teaching is amazing. My daughter started at the age of 7 and has now got 3 of her school friends dancing with her Can't wait to see the new studio. Highly recommend this dance community school.

There are not enough gold stars to capture the wonder that is Elevation Dance Studios. It is quite simply a joy factory. Miss Alex can not not infect every one of her students with her love of dance. She celebrates each and every student no matter where they are on their dance journey. She works them hard, expects heaps and is buckets of fun - and they love it. She has created a very special, inclusive space where all are welcome and diversity is championed. I'm so thankful for the role she plays in my kids' lives as a teacher, friend and role model. I challenge you to go to EDS and not come out grinning. Go on. Try it.

My time with this school has been extraordinary! It inspires joy and creativity and has such a support base that you feel part of a family.
