Elektra Caffe reviews
77Absolutely delicious food. Staff were super friendly and organised a table for our group. So many great Vegan options, and amazing authentic Meat options as well. Awesome little spot to call into if you're exploring the area, or a great place for a date night/dinner. Would definitely recommend, and will certainly be back! ️
This is one of my favourite cafes in Melbourne! The food is amazing and great value for money, and so many vegan options. The staff are really friendly too, our waitress today took the time to answer our questions about the menu and was happy to replace my drink after a misunderstanding. Highly recommend:)
Great food with lots of yummy options. Vegetarian and vegan options too. The staff are also super friendly
Let me first start with how much I loved the ambience. The decor is so Nepal and I felt like I was sitting in a restaurant out in Thamel (a popular tourist area in Nepal).
And then the chai which was so divine. I just cannot find that taste elsewhere. It had a good mix of tea flavour and spices too. Will definitely go back for their chai.
The food was good too. We tried the mandala pancakes and crushed avomandu. The pancakes were nicely done, but I did miss some achaar to the side. Will probably try something else on the menu next time.
Beautiful vegan food and service. I loved their fritters and Himalayan chai The okra chips were a little bit too oily but other than that, relaxing atmosphere
Best food. Great service and what a beautiful ambiance. This place is a must to visit…. Best chai ever. Definitely a favorite in Melbourne. We will be back
Loved it.little hidden gem, we found it walking around Fitzroy and it was an amazing surprise! Very friendly staff, beautiful place and the food was fantastic. The iced matcha chai just blew my mind. Now is one of my favorite places, Thank you guys.
Breaking the barrier of the monotonous café culture scene in Fitzroy, the team at Elektra have done a tremendous job in creating their own unique fusion menu! (and an amazing interior filled with traditional Art and leafy friends)
Their recipes are creative and so scrumptious! The chai tastes amazing on any day throughout the year. A perfect blend of spices and sweetness makes it one of my favourites from the menu.
P. S. The team members at Elektra are very friendly, kind and down to earth ️
Nearly collapsed in the bathroom due to sesame being in the food, when we told them about my allergy very clearly and multiple times on ordering. They got out of refunding us by claiming there was no sesame in it. Sesame oil is invisible. It was a horrible and frightening experience, and these guys clearly don't understand how life-threatening an allergy can be.
Liked the chai and the goat curry burger was good! I'd recommend the hot chai latte over the iced. The cold one was a bit watered down. Lovely little cafe.
All the staff were friendly and just in love with the foods… Wall paintings and all the stuff gives us the welcoming ambience…
A killer Himalayan chai and numerous vegan and vegetarian options. Unashamedly Nepalese and with the decor and cuisine to show for it.
The goat burger is so good! I love the flavours here, they are deliciously exotic without being intimidatingly foreign. The staff are so friendly, and they make a great brew mocchiato!
Cute little cafe serving Nepali style food. Great selection if you are after vegan/vegetarian brunch options. Unfortunately, I found the food a bit heavy for my liking. Maybe it was due to the tofucado dish I tried which was loaded with tofu with not enough acidity to cut the heaviness. So, I felt the balance was a bit off.
Edit: I made a typing error and the business was quick to enlighten me the difference between paneer and tofu. Funny of them to assume I don't know this already. There was no point to get offensive when all I shared was a genuine feedback.
Loved chai tea! Great customer service. Definitely coming back p.s. So many GF options, also tea was amazing with almond milk.
Best chai awesome ppl hidden gem cozy atmosphere vegan friendly healthy tasty food. Lots of respect for them to not add sugar (refined nor unrefined) into to the sweet black rice quinoa porridge!
Edit: I went back again but this time we were met with horrible attitude from the waitor - told us off for requesting dietary requirements and that "next time you come to a fusion restaurant you don't expect no chilli" and that everything was pre-made so they couldn't change the chili sauce for us. This is after we confirmed that there were no chilli in the dish and the dish came out super spicy. Common guys, loved you but what happened? Must be the covid stress on hospitality
Had the Himalayan chai, made in-house was absolutely delicious. Will definitely have again. Thankyou!
Walked passed this place and thought why not. We will get the chai ended up eating here.let me tell ya just go in and try it.the food the chai is amazing! Dark chocolate chai is so damm tasty.got the Benedict again was super flavourful.staff is very friendly and atmosphere is great. I Recommend this place. For my GF and VG people they have lots of tasty options so you have lots to choose from.
I ordered chai from ubereats and the drink is so well packaged, not split and as required extra hot. It is one of the best chai I've had! I went for brunch on another occasion, ordered Mandela pancake. It was very hearty, delicious and flavourful! Also everyone is very nice and friendly
One of the best cafes i have been too.must try their chai. It almost feels like home whenever I visit the cafe. Highly recommend
