While you wait for your order, you can see the sunset outside.
Very beautiful view and location
Very happy and much appreciating for opening near my place. Need more staff like other stores, all the tables were messy, oily and dirty. But very grateful that at least they opened in my area.
Chicken was dry. Mediocre chips. Pita bread in a plastic bag (just weird).
The restaurant was absolutely filthy with food scraps and sauce all over the tables and floor. Empty cans of drink in the planter boxes. It was not busy when we went so I can’t understand why the restaurant was left in such a state. The atmosphere is like dining in a brightly lit hospital waiting room and the air con was cranked up to the max, it was absolutely freezing.
Give this place a miss and stick to your local family owned charcoal chicken. Beyond disappointed.
Fresh and tasty food, I've missed middle eastern spices, finally something opened in our area. Loved the atmosphere
This is excellent, exactly what the area needed and everything is really tasty. Tawook has been excellent every time, and charcoal chicken is good, too.
It would be awesome to have a falafel or a vegetarian/vegan option (partner had to eat somewhere else. Please add fresh juice, mineral water, or improve drink options.
Not feeling the fried chicken, it seems out of place. Especially next to kfc.
Seemed a little understaffed, but I could have just always visited at very busy times.
Waited so long for my order. Not a busy afternoon. I think the service could be better.
Luckily the charcoal chicken that i have ordered saves the day. Delicious and juicy.
Maybe i comeback one day just for the chicken, hopefully order times will improve by then. The restaurant is brand new and clean.
Place the order through online and had to wait another 35mins in the store to get it and offered me free garlic sauce or chilli sauce. What a joke. The store was so quiet but Wasted nearly 45mins. Unprofessional staff need some training.
This spot offers a pleasant experience for a fast-food joint/takeaway. The chicken was juicy and packed with flavour, accompanied by tasty garlic sauce and a decent side salad. The option to use flatbread for a wrap was a nice touch.
However, the chips didn't quite hit the mark for me—they were overly seasoned with flavoured salt and didn't have that irresistible quality.
Overall, it's a solid choice when seeking a swift meal that's not from a drive-thru.
$5.40 for a CAN of Pepsi max on Uber eats
$6.90 for a serve of hommus…. Great way to take advantage of the price gouging in Australia
Part 1 - Fried Chicken Crispy Box:
Hmmm. I was so excited to try this place. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. Wait time was horrendous, It is expensive, the only part of the meal that had flavour were the chicken wings, which I found a little weird. KFC IMHO is better value.
I will return to try the Charcoal Chicken - Stay Tuned
Not a fan, sorry, i tried the fried box, i read Simon's review and felt exactly the same, wanted to score 2 stars but that is a bit of a cheap shot without trying the grilled box as maybe those going down the grilled route fared better? I will try the grilled next time and then i will have a better score but guys, that fried stuff needs work and you need to teach those kids howe to crumb chicken properly.
Hands down the best charcoal chicken! Fast and friendly service has been my only experience at this place.
Food was good.but from the time of ordering & receiving our meal wasn't so good, with lots of others waiting too.
The restaurant also has large windows facing west with no sun protection (blinds) on them, making it uncomfortable for half the table facing that way unless you want to eating dinner with sunglasses indoors.
Just went and ordered EJ burger spicy take away, came home they gave a different burger and it was cold, not worth the wait, and end up with wrong burger and cold, only the chips was ok and warm,
Happy to have a new awesome food in the neighborhood. Its Lebanese franchise which offers delicious charcoal chicken both in meal and sandwiches.
Visited this place during their opening week.
There was a bit of a queue but it was quick. Wait time for the food was about 15mins during a busy time so that was reasonable. Might try to dine in and check the other menu items but the one I ordered (charcoal box) was yum!
Nothing to rav on about considering the price and what’s the idea of having a bag of flat bread? On am positive note the chips were nice.
Just this place since it was new to the area and sticking to KFC next door.
Sorry guys this is my honest opinion
I would like to start off my review, by saying if you’re going to try and claim you’re the “Australia’s number 1 best chicken” be prepared to serve the chicken past 9pm! Little bit ridiculous, especially due to being such a new store and high competitors such as kfc right next door, you might want to reconsider this!
El Jannah is a good spot for a burger! From the moment you step in, the staff were smiling and happy. Their burgers, a perfect fusion of juicy and perfectly seasoned meat. The spicy mayo was great and didn’t blow my mouth out. The ambiance is a bit basic but as it’s a new location it wasn’t an issue as it was very clean. The service is friendly, but again as it is a new location the ordering process was a little slow as the young man serving me was not 100% familiar with the system and seemed to lack a little confidence due to that. El Jannah is a must-visit for anyone seeking a great burger and is happy to spend a bit more coin than the competitors next door!
Didn't cook my order after it was placed. Waited a very long time 30 minutues for a wrap and yhey said it would take more time. They prioritised only online orders first. Very bad service. Air-conditioning does not work inside. Really dissapointed.
