We invested in Ekodeck as we didn't want to have the upkeep of a natural wood deck. We got the designer series ironwood. It looks beautiful, but it does scratch really easily. And there's nothing you can do about it because the grain is on the top only and not all the way through. Even after fortifying all our outdoor furniture with rubber pads etc. Also - if getting an installer, get someone who has worked with and installed it before.

Ekodeck is a great product, solid, looks good, and would be fantastic to install and replace my whole deck. Unfortunately I only needed to replace a dozen or so planks and it is not ideal to mix in with existing timber decking. I keep the samples provided and expose them to the element to see if they weather well over the years. I'm still considering this product for an other section of the garden.

We came across this amazing product Ekodeck whilst searching for materials for our back deck that were maintaince free. Ordered some samples which arrived in a few days.
The website is great to use for your measurements and we really liked the find installers near me. To easy.

There is a lot to admire about this product but there are some big issues. We had some warping and had to adjust joins etc nothing too onerous. We struck a problem however with cleaning the type of Eko deck that we chose to use. We thought we could pressure clean it but turns out you can't pressure clean this particular type (designer not classic series) Incredibly you can't pressure clean the outdoor decking we used. Almost 50 mtrs.looks great just don't pressure clean it.

It looks like a good product but Bunnings do not cut it, I can’t transport 5.4 m lengths. I need it cut in half for transportation. I live on a farm and delivery is not an option.

The product itself is fit for purpose, but think $109 dollars for a bucket of extra clips is excessive. Also, the gauge of the screws is insufficient when going into hardwood underbearers, with a high rate of shear off. The only option is to predrill which adds lots of time to a build. Cost of tabs and piddling screws is my only.issue

Requested samples, which arrived in a few days. Love that the panels are made from recycled materials. We are installing the stain leatherwood from the designer series.

We built a deck around our pool with Ekodeck backbeach. We are really happy with the outcome, it looks great and isn't slippery even when wet. Only drawback is that when it is in full sun in summer it gets quite hot but it isn't really a problem as we just splash some water on it or wear thongs when this occurs. The material was pretty easy to work with, the only time where it was a bit difficult was chiseling out a notch to fix a lid cover handle.

Excellent product easy to use and install, only one criticism is that is does get hot in direct sunlight

Great product, I like the two sided colour boards which I used on this project as breaker boards. Easy to work with and quick to install.

Ekodeck was very easy to install, easy to work with and the final result looks great. The only issue I have with the ekodeck is that it does get quite hot in the direct sunlight when it's a hot day.

I have installed some 35 boards around the home making a glorious deck. I have been impressed with the installation system. Its very easy to do by a handyman like me. The Boards get warm in the full sun but not overly hot and the best is they are not slippery at all when wet. Customer service when needing some extra clips or screws was prompt and generous. The support has been great.

My deck was installed by an external company

Recently installed ekodeck designer series. All the fibres are coming off on its own due to which it looks very old and faded.

I ordered 61 sqm of ekodeck from Bunnings and was told the supplier will deliver to them by last week Friday. This weekend I enquired again and was told they will follow up with the supplier. This morning I received a call from Bunni9ngs advising Ekodeck told them they may be able to deliver within 2 weeks citing multiple excuses for not delivering as promised. I think I must order a different product from a different supplier.

Great product. Looks nice. Easy to install however gets extremely hot and unbearable to touch or walk on even when temperature is in the 20’s. I hate my backyard now as it had made my backyard unusable.

The product so far is ok, however I don't recommend using this product for the shear fact you can only buy through bunnings. I've spent a week n a half, 3 different delivery's and I still don't have my full order. No one calls back just a delivery truck turns up with the wrong colour or damaged boards.
