Eka Bulk Organic Wholefoods & Liquid Deli reviews
13Such a wonderful experience shopping here. Beautiful natural light, fantastic range of organic nuts, grains, seeds, teas, herbs soaps and all sorts of other consumables. There's a great little bespoke cafe attached as well. The person who runs the place is consistently helpful and kind. - Hamish John Appleby// APPLEBY PHOTOGRAPHY
Try the chai. Full range of wholefoods, cleaning products, spices, you name it. But don’t miss the chai.
I bloody love this place!
Gorgeous organic produce, and no plastic packaging. BYO containers, or borrow their jars.
An absolute must.
Beautiful store with a large range of health conscious products. The owner was very informative and provided a great friendly service. I had the beans and curry bowl with rice and it was delicious.
Thank you
It is cool place that I could pick used cleaned jar to collect so valuable honey with such as affordable price.
Sure will visit again.
If they sold certified organic produce and labelled it on the shelves as such, I would probably buy food from them-
I have never brought a single item of food from this shop, as they have this habit or ignorance that other new bulk whole-foods shops have of writing organic and charging you more money for the food. Now if it had certified organic food, which is a sustainable form of agriculture that has a certification process where you are given a number as a farmer and retailer and pay money to be certified and your soil is tested and your produce on the market place randomly. And you are fined or lose your certification as a farmer or retailer if your claim of selling certified organic produce is incorrect. This is because if you write certified organic and it is not you are falsely labelling, whereas the writing of organic can be written on anything and it does not mean anything, I think this tendency of writing organic on food items is sneaky and exploitative. Why should I pay more money for something that has been conventionally grown, but had the word organic slapped on it. Knowing what is involved in conventional agriculture, from synthetic pesticides, to synthetic fertilisers, even genetically modified organisms to name a few. Therefore I am one of the consumers who is trying to buy certified organic produce for environmental and health reasons and certain retailers and others place the word organic on items and the reality is that it means nothing.
We have been going here steadily over the last couple of years, and want to point out the now “not-so-new” management is fantastic! We have had to take up the delivery option, and still received all our goodies in paper bags and jars, not a piece of plastic in site! Great communication, reasonable cost - highly recommend.
Can’t wait for this place to expand and become the Terra Madre of the West. Chickpea flour and grains A+
A variety of tea and other organic products.
You could have a takeaway tea.
I had one and it was very good
Such beautifully made chai latte with so much love, rich and fragrant, definitely a great addition to my relaxing Saturday afternoon. Thank you Jen:)
Eka is fixed for our masala chai and turmeric chai for me and my friend on every Saturday after a hard long run️We deserve it a good chai at Eka
Worst customer service: Check out girl overcharged and didn't apologise when caught red handed. Do not trust
Friendly staff. Delicious menu available in cafe section. Huge range of bulk buy, zero waste items. Vegan friendly:)
