Very disappointed in the whole experience of selling at Aingers. Initial contact after showing a photo of items for sale confirmation was ‘yes would definitely be able to sell items’. Photo on their website was appalling. Other sellers items (speakers, crockery, jugs, etc,) placed on our designer sideboard - full description of table nondescript - no one on line would be able to see the items! Not one bid ‘ arranged for items to be picked up - now scratched!

I’d especially rented a van to load it with Australian art and antiques on appointment as this business was recommended to me, but it was a very brief and disappointing experience, a complete waste of my time and money. The auction room was loaded with op-shop junk, trash and treasure, bric a brac from deceased estates, all of very low value. There’s almost no parking, the staff seemed to be raddled in not knowing what to do, the bustling Captain John was indifferent, as scrabbled as his staff was for which I left. There are much better auction places in Melbourne.

Aingers was a fantastic introduction for me into antiques. The team are incredibly welcoming and supportive of newbies to antiques. I've since been back and don't plan to stop. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have any of the furniture I love.
