Eildon Riverside Holiday Park reviews
61The location was excellent but the toilets and camp kitchen were disgusting, most of the stalls in the men's toilets didn't even have toilet paper and the tables in the Camp kitchen were sticky
Great of you're going to party and listen to people compete with their music. All. Night. Long.
Rubbish littered along shore line of river.
Broken glass along shore line and in campsites.
Multiple tents allowed on one site so you're literally sleeping right next to complete strangers.
Amenities very basic and grubby and needed to be cleaned more than once a day, often running out of paper towel.
Permanent cabins when driving in are undescribable, like a shanty town.
Pool very small.
Gate code didn't work for first two days, after multiple requests for help we were finally given a new code because the one we'd been given expired months ago.
River is beautiful, however there were few spots to actually access it which were taken over by groups of people drinking alcohol from sun up to sun down and the current is too strong to be safe for young children to play in.
I have to recommend this caravan park. We stayed on the power site.
The place is clean, quiet, with all the n
facilities.dog friendly,
Clean kitchen, clean showers and toilets, swimming pool, playground and trampoline for children,
Amazing view of the water I could not have enough from this view.
We stayed in one of the family delux cabins
It was spacious and very clean. Had a fantastic time especially around the outdoor fire place
Absolutely beautiful park, very peaceful and the staff are very friendly and accommodating
Have been staying here for over 30 years I use to go with my dad, and now I go with my kids. The place has great facilities and plenty of things to do.
Great place to stay staff very nice and one of the only places in the area that let you have a cabin for one night stay this time of year
What an awesome caravan park- great spot near the river. Terrific management- didn’t stop working. Clean facilities and being a dog friendly Park everyone was respectful and never saw any dog poo on the ground.
We had the best powered site in the park- a great way to spend our Christmas adventure- with 10 family members and our 4 pooches.
Thanks for a wonderful 6 day stay and we will definitely come again.
We spend 5 nights. We stayed in the power site, the last night we asked to stay in a cabin and without any issues we got one. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. It was great place with great customer service. Every staff was very friendly and great to chat with. Facilities were fantastic, my favourites were the pool and game room, yes I'm still a kid in heart. Definitely recommend this place and definitely going back.
Lovely place, so peaceful, could do with better internet and a bit cleaner, but all in all we enjoyed our stay…would we return, yes if in the area
This place is wonderful. Quiet and there's a sense of calm and peace with the surrounding environment and wildlife. Morning fog just wonderful. Night sky is clear and low noise pollution. I spotted a saw comet in a blink of an eye. Great rooms, the owner is very kind and the service is beautiful. Will definitely come back.
Great location, great fishing at you doorstep.
It's a little unfortunate that everything else is do bloody expensive such as firewood and fire pits.go find your own firewood.
The bed in our cabin, well we took a mattress topper for the Queen size bed, an I am glad we did cause the beds are rock hard in the cabins and ours was higher in the middle, and dipped down to the edges. Not sure whether this is a review of the caravan park or the construction carried out by Jayco.
We will camp next time, much nicer part of the park near the river.
We absolutely LOVED our stay over the Easter long weekend. The staff were super friendly and accommodating even with how crazy busy and stressed they must have been! We will be back!
The people were wonderful. Very helpful and courteous.
We had a powered site which was right down the back of the park. The sites are quite large, definatly recommend for group tents
The issue we had was the closest toilet block was 150metres from the site. And all the playground facilities were set up the front of the property
The peoole here are lovely and very helpful.
We had a powered site and its right down the back where you have to walk about 150 metres to the nearest toilet block which was very old and in need of an update
The playground for the kids was even further.
This park looked like it was more accomadating for the permanant sites.
The site is well maintained, neat and tidy. Only game room should be updated. Some arcade game is 30 years ago.
Great place for a break for getaway camping with the family.
Camp site is good, amenities very good and always clean.
Only down side is that owners of dogs do not clean up after them, and they allow them to yap and bark all day long and late into the night.
Unfortunately no below zero ratings.
We booked 6 months in advance.
I emailed them 1.5 months prior our arrival that we aren't VAXED for Covid, they told us you can't use the pool only.we had covid 4 weeks before arrival, I filled out the online check in the night before and told them that we had covid 4 weeks ago and when we arrived they refused to check us in, they told me you told us that you didn't have covid, (well you can't even understand your question because it was a stupid question, the question was (I/we have not previously been diagnosed with covid 19) the answers were green tick for True and red X for faulse so I clicked on red X for faulse and they accused me not telling the truth, smart haa.discrasefull discriminating business.
The manager was rude, he got offended when we called him mate, he said don't call me mate I dont know you, how rude you are MATE.the women in the reception was so panicked to have us there because we aren't VAXED for Covid and said I have 3000 people I don't want to put everyone in the park at Risk, ha ha ha.
You will never see us or all our friends and Relatives there.
We went to Thorton Riverside caravan Park instead, we loved this place and will be back again and again to thorton not to Breeze.
Discriminatory and very arrogant staff.speaking rudely and loudly.amenities could be bit more.especially only 3 showers for more than 30-40 tent sites. And one shower had blocked drainage, dirty toilets looked like was never cleaned.many street lights were not working at night making it very hazardous for children.campsites are very uneven in size.so you could be in half size of land compared to your neighbour.and when asked for even size lots management makes you beg for it as if they are doing you a favour.
Lady in reception will scream all the time.two boys carries themselves as if they are there to pick on people and they want only people with certain background.many of our neighbours were keep making noise till late at night.but there was no one wanting to listed to us and treated us as if they are doing us a favour.will never recommend to face these people.
Site is nice, but if you see rubbish and hazardous.who wants to go there?
other alternative sites are much better and nicer poeple.such as eildon pondage park.
It's a family and dog friendly park, the Goulburn River is at the back, great spot for fishing.
