Did not have an enjoyable time here at all. Office Staff are extremely rude and arrogant. The shower block was disgusting. Showers were dirty and full of dead bugs. Sites are very small even though we said we had a long Ute and boat to park at night. Would not recommend wasting your money better off going to one of the other parks in eildon.

Great place for a holiday. Amazing entertainment for the kids. Great fishing and relaxation.

Firstly, it’s crazy reading the responses to your poor reviews here; absolutely no acknowledgment or ability to take on feedback, just argumentative and unprofessional with snarky remarks.
We have been coming to the park for years and years. This trip in particular has been the final straw and won’t be returning.

We brought our dog who is a friendly border collie and does not wander. Our dog WAS off the leash when we were setting up, so completely fair enough when advised he needed to be on leash. It’s interesting though as all the little dogs in the park were wandering free the whole time we stayed. When walking our dog across the grass ON leash, he was attacked by one of the little dogs off leash.
The second time they came to “check on us” at night time, our dog was on a long thin rope leash and was told again to put him on leash. Advised when checking our we had 2 warnings and our dog won’t be welcome back.

Our music was on until 10: 30 (30 mins after hours) rather than coming across in a friendly manner to ask us to turn it off or down, the male manager came across and was aggressive. When checking out, we were told we had 2 further noise complaints about the music after we were told, which I find very interesting as our music was turned off after he left. We felt extremely picked on and degraded. Last time we were at the park there was a 50th with celebrations, screaming and music till about 3am.

I’m sure I’ll get a sassy response back. This more so for people looking at staying here, probably think again. Sadly this used to be the most beautiful and positive environment but now ruined with negativity and extreme unfriendliness.

We have been coming to this caravan park for years but unfortunately these new care takers have changed the entire experience for us!
They are rude and aggressive!
When you come to someone with an aggressive attitude that is what you're going to get back!
The way this guy approaches people and the attitude is extremely poor!
This guy picks and chooses who the rules abide to and that's not ok!
I have read many bad reviews and seen the replies trying to justify the behaviour and again that's not ok, maybe it would make you think oh maybe it's us with the problem!
It's unfortunate that we won't be back and these people have changed our experience and I really hope if they are not the owners than the owners are aware of how so many people feel!
This caretaker has no people skills! Instead of trying to justify the bad reviews try taking some responsibility!
Won't be back!
Lost loyal customers!

Our family recently stayed at this caravan park. Management was at times rude and unhelpful and I would not recommend for this reason.

The first night, we had to check ourselves in as we were running late. We asked if we could have a fire that evening, however, we were told we couldn’t have a fire because we would need to hire a fire drum the following morning. We ended up turning an old tool box into a fire pit, as camping in winter without a fire is not ideal.

The caravan park was near completely empty. Two of our campers arrived the next day and were made to park out the front, and had to carry all of their camping equipment in because “There was not enough room for their car”. They also were made to pay for a whole new site, even though they were sharing a tent that was already set up on another site.

The park has rules that dogs must be on leads at all times. This is fine and fully understandable. But at 9am in the morning, we let our friendly dog off for a moment which at this point the caravan park manger pulled up. When he pulled up, rather than say “Hey mate do you mind putting a lead on your dog”, he rudely said “Dogs must be on leads at all times” and drove off.

The caravan park it’s self was nice and well maintained but over priced compared to most places we stay specially for winter time, we feel as a family rudeness from park management let it down.

The points I have made didn’t worry us to much.

- The dog should have been on a lead
- Not having a fire drum we overcome and adapted
- 2 of our campers not being aloud to bring there car into a empty caravan park with ample space.

We are more than happy to abide by park rules but no need to come across rude and arrogant.

Hopefully from my review the Male manger can work on his people skills and have a little more respect and manners when addressing issues.

Such a beautiful spot. We came in winter and it was exactly what we wanted! The staff were very friendly and informative of any questions we had. The cabin was warm and comfortable and the location had plenty to offer.
We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place right on the water. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. When we arrived in the late afternoon the lights were on and the heating had warmed the cabin. That was very much appreciated. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend this place.

The managements treatment of annuals is downright disgusting, hence that is why we sold our site, won’t be bullied again.just have to talk to anyone that owns their sites, to realise how bad it is.

Great location to walk to shops but park is over priced. It is in need of updating on bathroom amenities.
Didn’t see any disabled bathroom. There was a grab bar in a toilet but you wouldn’t be able to get a wheelchair in.
Fake grass on powered sites has weeds & tree roots through them, so careful don’t trip up on them. 2 signs at front states no pets holiday or public holidays but there were dogs in the park & got message stating keep pets on leads. Confusing.

Pool was refreshing but was so crowded, for amount of people staying a bigger pool & shade cover is needed.

The park itself is good, the staff, on the other hand, really ruined the place.the girls at the front desk, the maintenance men and cleaning people, all are rude, never happy. I feel they hate their job and really don't wanna be there.it is a big turn-off.

Beautiful campsite. Quiet and peaceful next to the water. Toilets and showers are simple but adequate. Fires are allowed but only if you use the pits provided by the park. Would definitely visit again.

We were sharing a pwd site right on the main drive opposite the work shed was quite noisy especially when the truck came at 7: 30 am to empty the bins. Eildon itself seems to cater for people with boats. There isn't really any where to go swimming nearby.

We booked the camp site for the Melbourne cup weekend.due to the weather and road closed we had to cancel it.upon calling them we were told there will be a cancellation fee of $30. But they charged us $109.there were few other families.the others had a $30 cancellation fee.

Why were we charged alot.even for per night rate the other group were charged $75 they were 3 adults 2 kid over 10 years.we were charged $109 2 adults 4 kids aged 14,10,8,5.

Not happy at all.

Edit: the other group cancelled after we did.

It's really quiet, but it might be busy in the peak season. Only a few powered sites for camping are a bit of a bummer but plenty of unpowered sites. Overall well maintained and the ablution facilities are clean. Good play for kids. Only 3 showers, so get in early if u want to take a shower.

It's a ripper of a park, quiet and well looked after, not much in town so bring all your food and whatever is needed for you to enjoy a peaceful place

Overpriced and to be put in a lot with no shade though heaps of other sites with shade. Sorry but not good enough.
