How lucky was I to contact Edwin Fox for a quote to restore my 1950/60's wooden table and buffet. He was a delight to speak with and was able to identify the table & buffet wood used. He knows his craft and as there was quite a few very deep marks and stains that I was sure could not be removed, he gave us an honest opinion and I was absolutely delighted with the end product!:)
I couldn't believe it was the same table & buffet. I would highly recommend Edwin for wooden furniture restoration works.

We had a completely faultless experience with Edwin, getting our inherited Parker dining set restored. It was a job we put off for years because we didn't know who to trust, but we're so glad we entrusted Edwin because the results are flawless! I feel like the before and after photos speak for themselves! Edwin was responsive, flexible and friendly and kept us updated every stop of the way, especially as we were overseas while he was working on it. We got to come home from 7 weeks away to a gorgeous dining set, and hosted family dinner on it that very same night! Thank you, Edwin!

Adore Edwin’s stuff. Super responsive to messages, upfront about restoration process, delivered to Geelong area. Was super obliging with videos of pieces and really kind to interact with.

Brilliant experience with Edwin. The sofa is exactly as described (purchased sight unseen as I’m in Sydney and he’s in Melbourne) and his communication was excellent. Edwin assisted me to get a delivery service out of Melbourne and his recommended service also communicated well. Delivery was scheduled for 7: 45am - 8: 30am arrived 7: 45am and was carefully and professionally delivered.

I can absolutely recommend Edwin’s work after he was able to seperate our tricky 60’s teak bedhead with side draws. The results were brilliant and not easy to achieve!
He repaired and renovated our Tessa chair which also needed his expert problem solving skills. He was efficient with great communication and a high level of expertise. All done with a friendly, happy manner! Someone to trust! Thanks Edwin!

I want to acknowledge the SENSATIONAL restoration of my retro dining chairs by the NICEST restorer in Melbourne - Mr @edwinfoxfurniture … I’ve never had anything restored and couldn’t even get anyone to reply to a request - EXCEPT for Edwin who replied in 30 minutes and has been the most amazing communicator throughout the job - which has been SO rapid. I don’t ‘speak restoration’ - so in layman’s terms he broke them down - removed all the nasty tint and grime - repaired a broken chair - gave the wood massive amounts of love - discovered it’s true nature (Vic Ash) and then set to work repairing and recovering them - this image does NOT do them justice - unfortunately the house hasn’t got a spare wall to photograph it well and you can’t smell the glorious treatment he’s applied to the wood - utterly stunning and brought back to life or given a whole new life - natural wood … sigh … I cried.they are sublime … thanks also to the @wortleygroup for super friendly advice on the fabric and rapid supply so Edwin could get these too us so swiftly … do not hesitate to contact him for any and all restoration work - you’ll not meet a more passionate, honest and nice man to trust your furniture to

Edwin’s rare finds are outstanding. He also has the tremendous ability to restore fine woodwork. The piece I purchased was a beautiful mid century sideboard which proudly houses my vinyl collection. Edwin also has the ability to deliver, which is a big plus. I am constantly looking to see what he has next on his website.
