Good place to chill and eat. Great Tapas. Usually a band playing on a Sunday, so can enjoy a few drinks and listen to music

Disappointing night and we definitely won’t be back. It took an hour from arrival for food to arrive after they finally took our order. Arrived at 7, food arrived just after 8. Steak was cold and the popcorn cauliflower was burnt and cold. I think someone forgot to bring it out to us. We were initially asked constantly if we wanted another drink when we still had a drink, yet when food arrived no one was around and glasses were empty. No salt, no one to ask so I grabbed the bar salt - it was an ‘every man for himself’ situation by then. I know it’s a bar but geez the music cancelled out conversation and it was still early, I could understand after 9 or something. Great location but we won’t be back. There’s much nicer service and food at multiple other locations in Geelong. We thought we would give Edge a go however never again. You might need some kind of a restaurant manager there or something.

We had lunch there yesterday but was not very happy with the service as well as the food. Ordered Veg Spring Rolls, Aranchini balls, Calamari and pork Belly.
Only Aranchini was good, rest of the food was served cold and bland. Spring rolls were badly burnt from one side and tasted bad. Water was only served upon asking. So overall not impressed at all. Wanted to bring to their notice while we were there but no one came and checked once our food was served. So finally we left.

Waited half an hour before someone took our order despite being told it was all table service. The seafood marinara was also quite bland.

Location; fabulous spot, was greeted by a lovely guy. Shame our table was dirty from the last booking, but that happens at a booked out location.

Drinks - large selection & cocktails were delicious & quick to arrive.

Main - risotto was surprisingly fresh, not heavy, & very tasty. Parma was massive!
Dessert - peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. The top part of cream, chocolate soil and chocolate sauce was ok, but the actual "peanut butter cheesecake" part was inedible - was so salty neither of us could eat it.

Service- apart from the initial, was not the best. Nobody cleared the table from our mains, then our dessert arrived, and still had to ask for the main plates to be removed. Had another round of drinks delivered and the emptys remained on the table. A waitress dropped cutlery (we have all been there) but she kicked it, under another table into other people.not ideal.

So, 3 stars - drinks, mains, perfect.
Service and dessert the let downs.

Great food and service, great fun atmosphere for a sunny Sunday afternoon in the sun with a few drinks. Catered to our large family group with ease.

Very bad service i asked to the staff about a burguer at 11 30 am they told me that they start to cook at 12 00 p.m i waited for the burguer and another staff member told me they dont sell that burguer anymore, i wasted my time and finally they spent a lot of time asking to many customer about the food because they didnt know where the food needed to be dwlivered to the right customer!

Long wait as they were very busy. Pimm's jug was delish.
Bit pricey but it's the same everywhere. Parmy was small as was the side of chips.
Seafood Laksa was too big for me to finish, but it was $35. Would be good if they had this in entree size.
Liked to outdoor seating better.but couldn't hear the band well enough over the loud talking.

Will return for more experience

The Best Parmas in the state, i come down from Wallan just to get a parma worth the drive staff is extremely excellent. Good job ladies and gentlemen

This place was horrible I payed $20 for a small serving. I ordered 6 hash browns and they never went through I waited for 45 minutes waiting for this food

My family and I enjoyed a breakfast meal. The breaky burger was fresh and delicious. There was food envy at our table. The service was a step above any other business in Geelong that I experienced. Quality with both food and service. Worth the investment. We ended up going back for lunch!

Great place for just 1 or for many. Sunday afternoon's live music is a bonus!
Very friendly staff who are fantastic at looking after their patrons. Really enjoyed the Italian sides and the risottos as mains. Thoroughly recommend Edge in any weather. Summer, cool breezes due to facing Eastern Beach with lots of shade outside and in Winter, cosy and warm with great heaters keeping you warm. Will make sure we return next time we're in Geelong.

The place to be when you are in Geelong. It offers great choices of meals and alcohol and is right on the esplanade of Geelong's Eastern Beach area.

Poor food
Visited with family during Easter long weekend and was very disappointed
Food was not even warmed up properly
Beetroot Risotto had canned beetroot and was so tasteless
Parma was cold and chewy
Burrito bowl again lacked flavour and was cold
Service was good and staff were friendly but the food was a big letdown
Had especially traveled from Melbourne to waterfront Geelong and didn’t have a good experience

I have ordered an Aperol Spritz- my favorite drink and was disappointed to get rather mineral water slightly coloured in orange colour. When I asked about it I was told that was the recipe they use there? The calamary that I have ordered were cooked perfectly though.

We visited this restaurant for breakfast this morning and although the location and decor of the restaurant were great, the service was extremely slow and when we finally received our coffees and meals, we were extremely disappointed. The fried eggs were ordered to be cooked on both sides and as a result, came out overcooked and hard. The bread the eggs were served on looked like gluten free bread even though it said it was supposed to be sour dough. The scrambled egg dish came out and looked more like an omelette, again over cooked. The poached eggs were undercooked with the white still translucent. We waited about 45 minutes for our meals to come out and the coffees took about 20 minutes. The only saving grace were the staff who were pleasant and welcoming when they attended the table. Very disappointing.

Edge is by no means the best place to eat in Geelong, but it's a great place to gather with friends or family and have a drink and a meal.

Food was average. Service the worst. Since we were a big table they told us to pay upfront then we didn’t see any problem. Though having all the receipts in their hands we were missing dishes and drinks. We claimed for those things and the waitress refused a couple of times to bring our drinks back (since she served them somewhere else) and she said “oh someone took your drinks” so she refused to bring them, rude staff!
