Edendale Community Environment Farm reviews
39A fun filled day. Feeding the sheep, walking amongst the Chickens (Hens). Goats, ducks and Alpacas to see. Learn how to milk a cow. So much to see and do. Cafe on site and a nice area to have a picnic. Highly Recommend for families with children. The volunteers are amazing and so passionate in what they do.
This place is great for younger kids. Small and easy to get around. Plenty of toilets and picnic areas, there's also a cafe. Goats, chickens, ducks, alpakas, sheep and guinea pigs there's a separate adventure playground next to the farm across the bridge as well.
The animals look well and the fruit trees are loaded.vegetable gardens are well managed.visitors are respecting the rules. Good place to be at
Lovely local community farm with a wide range of activities for people of all ages. Newly built cafe on site, education centres, native plant nursery and loads of interesting farm animals.
It’s free! You can also get up close and personal with the chickens! I would have loved the chance to pet some alpacas, but their paddock was closed: (
Amazing community farm with a donation for entry. Feed the chickens, have a coffee, check out the goats, sheet, llamas, turtle and guinea pigs. A toddlers dream!
Fantastic local little farm and plan nursery. Both my kids love coming here. So much hands-on things.for the kids.
This is a great place to kill a few hourband chill with farm animals. Great place to take kids and very well set up to be educational. The cafe does simple but nice light food. Great on a warm sunny day.
Free entry. Good place to take the kids. The cafe has friendly staff and there are great native plants for sale. With the little ones, you could spend a couple of hours there. Otherwise plan for an hour.
Beautiful place, with a few animals and seedlings/nursery.
Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
The new playground across the bridge is really great as well.
No notifications to locals within a short distance of the music things they have on that go into the night. Some of us have the unfortunate very early starts due to work on Sundays so some sort of notification would be appreciated
Edendale is a great little community farm next to the Eltham adventure playground. Which you can walk around for a relaxing stroll. There are animals to see, herbs to see and purchase if you want, animals to see and a cafe to go to if you are looking for coffee or meal.
Beautiful little local farm, great for kids to observe various animals, nice place to come and just relax.
Cannot go past this farm as the ideal weekday or weekend activity for the whole family. It has a plant nursery, guinea pigs, goats, chickens, a pony, two cows and the most lovely cafe with great management. Well worth a visit!
We booked a tour during spring school break. What a good decision it was, kids got to feed baby goats from milk bottles, fed hay to the cow and mummy goats and sheep. The chicken feeding was so fun too. Great spots to picnic after the tour.
A great farm with sprawling grounds, various farm animals and birds, a little cafe and an education centre. Within a short walk from the Eltham Adventure Playground which is also worth a visit.
Great free farm. Gold coin donation suggested. Great friendly staff. Coffee caravan on site. Rear gate gives access path and walkway to North Eltham Park. See chickens, goats, guinea pigs, a cow, a horse. Check their website for events as these are great.
We go every week and my son absolutely loves seeing the animals and feeding the chooks. He enjoys the veggie garden and learns lots about nature.
Loads of great courses for adults on site too.
Great little cafe with healthy well priced meals.
