EcoHome Insulation - Insulation Removals & Installs

Just used this service to have new insulation installed at our property.

The price quoted was very competitive and the vibe my husband and I got from Dennis who inspected and quoted the job was great.

Dennis also later installed the insulation, was great dealing with the same person.

They slotted our job in to their schedule in a very timely manner, showed up on time, worked very diligently. The job was done well - my husband got into the man hole to inspect it afterwards and we was happy.

They didn’t leave any mess afterwards, cleaning up after themselves perfectly which was very much appreciated.

Definitely recommend using this service if you need insulation or internal roof cleaning.

The engagement process was excellent, head and shoulders above the other firms we approached. Our house is a very old 2-storey Victorian, but none of the difficulties that presented were too much trouble. The work was done efficiently by the whole team; no fuss, but clearly a lot of effort and care for our home. The result was excellent.

Environmental considerations were very important to us, and EcoHome was able to advise on and work with these needs easily.

Very happy with the EcoHome team.

I found Trevor to be very knowledgeable and gave me a few options and recommendations with the quote. The quote was reasonable as well.

I found the installation teams to be fast and efficient. Denis and Curtis flew through the ceiling doing the vac and installation of R7 in a matter of hours.

Subfloor was done in a day and looks good.

Our home is now much more energy efficient, we're not losing the precious heat anywhere near as quickly even on those cool nights.

I would highly recommend Ecohome. After getting numerous quotes, they were the only company that properly engaged with the specific needs of our house. They installed r7 insulation in our roof and blow in insulation in the raked roof/wall areas too. Both Trevor and Dennis are really nice guys and clearly know their stuff. The insulation has made a huge difference. Very happy with the results.

Trevor and team did a great job of installing underfloor insulation which was completed promptly and with a minimum of fuss. It has made a great difference to the warmth of our house.

We're absolutely over the moon with our new earthwool insulation! Wow! What a difference it's made already! We originally had insulfluff installed by our builder some years ago, and have never been able to retain heat in winter and no way of keeping our home consistently cool in summer. We're very happy with Ecohome's installation. Trevor explained the process and recommended the best product for our needs. Our installers Dennis, Jessy and Fayas were professional and really friendly. The guys thoroughly cleared out the existing insulfluff and then installed two layers of earthwool R-3.5 bats, one layer between the timber joists and another layer perpendicular. Upon completion, Dennis showed my wife and I photos of the installation which made us extremely happy to see solid quality work carried out.

The whole team at Ecohome are very knowledgeable in the industry. They are a credit to the business. Great work done by Trevor and his team!

Trevor responded to a post I made on an online forum. I then tried chasing up a quote 2-3 times over space of 10 days. Each time I was promised it would be done that afternoon or next morning but never heard back. Would understand if someone said busy, or not interested etc but hard to recommend based off my experience

We had an old Victorian weatherboard in the country in need of new ceiling insulation.
From quoting to installation I cannot fault Trevor and his team and would highly recommend their services.

Trevor and his crew did amazing work to insulate my ceiling. There were issues with my houses previous insulation in that is was very patchy and some areas had none. They tidied the whole roof up and added in extra insualtion to those areas before putting a layer of blow in insulation over the top of the whole thing. Its only been a day since it was done but house is already significantly warmer!

Trevor was excellent right from the start to the end. Extremely easy to deal with, very honest, flexible and transparent. He has fantastic communication skills and established a great rapport with us that made us felt very confident that we’ve went with the right company.

His team lead by Dennis was professional, on time and very polite! They worked tiredlessly on getting our old ceiling insulation removed and installed new insulation. They cleaned up the site after they finished the job and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.

Trevor and his team did a great job at installing our ceiling and underfloor insulation. Trevor was very thorough in his initial assessment of our needs and talked us through the options available to us. There were no delays with getting the work done and we are really happy with the outcomes. Trevor's team of workers were fantastic - great guys who were really respectful of us and gave us feedback throughout the job as they encountered other problems that we did not know about. A great service, highly recommended.

My experience with Ecohome was really positive. Trevor really cares about his customers and the quality of work provided. I received photos and was also able to inspect the ceiling & underfloor insulation myself. The guys did really thorough work removing my old ceiling insulation, vaccuming out the roofspace thoroughly and installing the new stuff to be neat and tidy and have all the cables visible. I thought at one point they had damaged my projector wiring in the ceiling and Trevor responded immediately by coming round to inspect and bringing a replacement cable. Luckily it turned out it had just come unplugged and I had missed seeing that (doh!) but I was impressed in the response I received. If you want to be confident that you are getting great quality work at a reasonable price then EcoHome are a safe bet.

Trevor was great. He was really knowledgable and was happy to share information. We got two layers of R3.5 batts installed upon his recommendation/quote.
The boys who did the work were really respectful and considerate (tried to keep the house as clean as possible and with as little disruptions to us WFH). Had a light bulb fall out whilst they were doing the work, which they reported to Trevor (who came back to replace it a few days later).
Glad we go it in time for the cold snap because there is a noticeable difference (attached before and after pics). He was chatting about the efficient home facebook group which I'm really getting into. Looking at getting our walls done next year because of Trevor and all the FB people, then maybe double glazed windows, who knows.

Liased with Trevor for underfloor and wall insulation for our 1970s home, he was very informative and communicative which I really appreciated! The installation team are incredibly hard workers and it didn't even look like they stopped for a second!

Had under floor and ceiling insulation installed. Perfect job, perfect service, friendly team, reasonable price, 5 stars all around.

Trevor and his crew did a fantastic job on our 100 year old home in the Eastern Suburbs. The job involved removing the old ceiling insulation/replaced it with bats and installed under floor insulation. The underfloor space was very tight, so much so that another company we sought a quote from would quote underfloor unless they got the ceiling job. It was a big job completed in one long day for the crew. I since had a tradie under the house (as Trevor noted an issue with the heating ducts) who said it was the best insulation job he had ever seen. We highly recommend them.

I found Trevor to be a person who conducts himself in a professional manner, is very accommodating, happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the job at hand and is knowledgeable in the area of building & construction The team did an amazing job removing all the old insulation fibre and any debris found in the ceiling, as well as a great job of installing the new insulation batts. Thank you to Trevor and the team. The install was completed in July '21. After removing existing insulation and other debris, R6 batts replaced the sparse blow-in version. The cathedral ceiling insulation was such a challenge but the result with the R4 batts is significant. We saw an immediate and significant improvement with the overnight temperature of the house and it is much easier to heat the house. We have seen a significant decrease in our first gas bill in comparison to the same time last year. We are looking forward to the results in summer.

Trevor and the team did a great job, were tidy and fairly priced. I wish we had done this sooner. Trevor's excitement to see an improved result and ensure we are happy is such a breath of fresh air.
