Great store with very helpful staff. Their advice on watercolours was really useful for someone just starting out.

Thank you so so much to the amazing lady who served me. I forgot to ask for her name. She was a life saver as I desperately needed some hooks and wires attach to my canvas right then and there. She could have sold me then items and told me she didn't have the tools but she was quick on thinking and managed to get my canvas hooked up. Amazing team member! Will definitely return to get my painting materials from the store! She went above and beyond, she's a gem!

Very friendly service, and while they didn't have everything I needed, the clerk pointed me in the direction where I could get what was missing. Great experience.

So far this shop has been excellent - great products - I used mid price oil pastels tonight - high class graphite pensils - amazing stuff Eckersley's I'm going to go back to buy some smudgers tomorrow ️ I haven't investigated the craft material too much yet but looks good also

It's a little disheartening that, for a bricklayer with has 3 kids, who is contemplating on trying 'oil painting' for the first time, would cost me a small fortune to experiment with the idea. I managed to obtain descent quality necessities to start for a lot less elsewhere.

For a small shop, they have a good range and selection. The staff are very helpful if you have any questions or need assistance choosing the right supplies:)

Dodgy website takes the money off your gift card before the order is placed. Something went wrong when processing the order online. When I re-put in the gift-card details it now tells me there's $0 left on it. Just spent a thoughtful $50 xmas gift-card on literally nothing.pretty unimpressed.:/

Absolutely love this store! Staff are always helpful and friendly and they have a great range of stock! It can sometimes be expensive but they have a great discount system especially for students!

Wide range of options for artists and beginners alike, from the most expensive to the cheapest.

Wide range of quality artist brands including Winsor Newton, Artist Spectrum, Copic, Reeves, Archers paper, and many more. Pens and ink to the left near the counter, paints in the right aisle. Pads and sketchbooks near the back, canvases and loose sheets up the stairs at the very back. There was a small bargain bin at the very front of the store when I went.

Pleasant experience, welcoming environment, and received friendly and competent service from the young woman working on Saturday morning. I will visit again!

It's hard to see what you need in painting material at Melbourne, but in Eckersley's its best place to find what you need.

They've always got what I need, except for that one time when they didn't. But then they got it in special order within like two days - bloody legends. 9/10 more waterproof foamboard

Great little art supply store tucked away in the suburbs with an excellent range of products for many forms of art and craft. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They even have a decent selection of calligraphy supplies, which puts them high on my list.

This store has friendly and knowledgeable staff always ready to help a newcomer to art with useful advice. I've recently discovered a love of painting and they've been incredibly helpful walking me through the initially-overwhelming amount of supplies available for painting, with a frank discussion of the various pros and cons of various equipment (coupled with some personal familiarity with and recommendations of different items), and without ever feeling like they were just trying to sell me something expensive. The store stocks a very large array of art supplies, from drawing to painting to crafts; I'm just starting to scratch the surface, and there are plenty of sections of the store I've barely begun to explore yet. I expect I'll be coming back here for my art needs for a long time to come.

Excellent selection of authenic oil paint and other art supplies. Wonderful service. But everything seems a little pricey and their idea of membership is very.capitalist.
