Echuca Gardens reviews
40 This place is well-equipped with all the necessary amenities and features a beautiful garden, which was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
It is close to all the major attractions in Echuca and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend
This is one of my favourite reviews to write. After the stresses of cost of living, mortgage and just the busy nature of life staying here really reset me and came at exactly the right time in my life. I had made a really bad investment and lost 6 figures. The only reason I disclose that is the host Kym is one of the most genuine, wordly and nicest people you could meet. His attitude to life of just focusing on being happy and actually enjoy life will make a lasting impression on me. His time he takes to show you his collection of trinkets he has collected from his extensive travels just make you actually realise that you want to live and enjoy life. I sat there mesmerised at his ending of playing the piano for us as I felt I wan in another world. The establishment itself is so quaint and just filled with peace and serenity. We stayed in the gypsy cottage and loved the experience as it was very homely in itself and quite close to everything. Taras hall withing walking distance was amazing too for the food and atmosphere with its live music on Friday night.
If you want a different kind of trip where you get back to what is actually important in life, being happy and taking it easy, then this is the place to stay and you will have a proper restful break. Kym, thank you from the magnificent mural you painted, to your hospitality, to your inspiring self making me want to stop stressing about life and just enjoy it I am truly grateful our paths crossed. Best of travels ahead in October and myself Megan and Boston our staffy are glad you had us at echucha Gardens!
The accommodation exceeded our expectations. Kym is a very welcoming and interesting individual who was approachable and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum that took us to 135 countries in half an hour. Highly recommend also pet friendly.
My family and I had a lovely stay here in the cottage. The interior design was vintage-y and quirky, nothing like I've ever stayed in before, so it was a fun experience! The rooms were spacious and comfortable - great for hanging out with the family. Kym the host was friendly and accommodative. The location is great too - close to the main attractions in Echuca, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries.
Fantastic facility great communication very clean great location definitely come back and pet friendly thank you
We loved our stay at Echuca Gardens - such a beautiful garden and the apartment had everything we need - will definitely stay again!
I rented a wagon for 4 nights.
It was clean, quiet, water was hot and the heater worked well. They're well equipped. Close to town.
The accomodation we stayed in was a gypsy cabin. The price was very affordable and although not large it had everything a couple would need and what I expected in a budget accomodation. My only criticism would be the mattress it was uncomfortable and a bit dated. I don’t usually get a sore back but I did after our stay.
Great stay.comfy bed.beautiful surroundings.close to everything.what more could you ask for Dog friendly to
We rented the cottage for Anzac weekend and honestly it was great. Fully equiped kitchen and laundry plus 2 bathrooms. Plus you don't only have a front gated area for the dogs, you have a gated little backyard as well so very impressed for our pooches.
Extremely affordable as I would describe this more of a house size than a cottage. 3 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs and we had plenty of room.
Great hiding places for the kids with hide and seek!
It's quirky, old fashioned and fun. I prefer spending my money ey to stay away somewhere different so this was a great experience!
If you prefer to stay away in modern facilities then the cottage isn't for you. But if you are a family looking for an affordable house to stay with your dogs then book this place. We loved it!
We knew this was a compact stay, but we chose this as we really wanted to experience the gypsy wagon.it had everything and more you could need.although we ate out each evening.the gardens surrounding the venue were blissful and quiet to catch up on some reading. Kym the owner is a man of many talents.
Very friendly staff, Stunning gardens and our two dogs loved it as well. 10/10 will stay again.
Is an amazing experience staying at the gypsy wagon! Very unique and special place with beautiful garden.
Kym is so nice and friendly! He makes this trip super remarkable when he shared all his collections of the world! He is a walking encyclopaedia of world travel! Amazed with the knowledge and he is professional pianist!
The only things can improve are the dust and some cobweb around the wagon.
Else everything is good!
The host Kym very friendly and helpful.
Loved loved the Gypsie Wagon. So comfy had all I needed. Great location.
Felt very safe, great walking tracks. Close to all restaurants the river etc
Would recommend staying there
Fantastic, self contained accomodation. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment. Kym was very helpful. Great surrounds, including the gardens. Accommodation is walking distance to the centre of town, with walks along the Murray river.
The fenced in garden and the fact that you could leave your dog in safety was a big plus for this. Friendly owner and his friendly dog, Jetta.
Very clean and value for money. Stayed in the one bedroom apartment which suited our needs but had to put up with noise from upstairs. Foot steps, talking and we could even hear the dog drinking. Not fun at 7 am when we were enjoying a holiday sleep in. Host was not there either morning so we could not speak to him directly.
Kym the owner is amazing not only did he give us a tour of the world by his knowledge but really went out if his way to make us feel comfortable and at home really feel blessed I stayed in gypsy wagon just wow and the gardens are to die for highly recommended amazing experience, Moe
Enjoyed staying with Kym and Jetta in the apartment. It was very cosy and full of character. Really great place to stay with a dog. Didn't get time to see Kym's travel collection after a busy weekend but will be sure to make time on our next visit.
Furnishings and gardens have been nicely done. A downside of the area we stayed was that we were underneath another room and could hear every movement above us. We were asked to provide feedback directly to the owner, however, he was largely absent during our stay, including when we checked out.
