ECHO Australia Employment Services (Box HIll) reviews
6 Have been very happy with the service provided by Echo for many years now. Not only did they help me find employment, but their support and assistance continues after finding it.
Also very happy with my consultant, who has always gone above and beyond in her level of service.
Tamara and Maria have been absolutely incredible and so supportive - the Jonathan Van Ness's of recruitment. If they decided to form a cult, I would join no questions asked.
I have worked here for many years and appreciate all the great opportunities I have been provided with, including work/life balance and the option of applying for roles internally. The management here are very supportive. The interests of all stakeholder's, including participants and employers, are put first to ensure that this small player in a big pond is successful in meeting the needs of those in our community who are disadvantaged and marginalized to reach their employment goals. Great work echo!
Useless service for my son. Don't waste your time with this company. They were respectful though.
Rudest and most unhelpful people and support fof vulnerable and disabled individuals.
I was with Echo Employment Services for over 5 years in total - first at their Box Hill office, and then for the last year at their Lilydale one. In my experience, the majority of case workers are apathetic and don't seem to care about you at all. They push you to go for jobs that aren't appropriate (I'm autistic and have issues with speaking on the phone but they'd try to get me to go for reception type jobs). I did a security course because they pushed it but there's no permanent full time jobs in security, so that hasn't gotten me much work either. If Centrelink suggests Echo Employment Services, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere - I only had 1 or 2 good case workers who seemed like they actually cared, the rest of the time I was bounced around to a variety of apathetic, emotionless robots who did nothing for me.
