Sold the Amiibo I paid for, then lied and said it was sitting in the store for 6 weeks (it wasn't, it was 2 since they called me it was available)

My friends gifted me a game from this store which unfortunately had a hiccup, when I came in to see to get it fixed the staff were so understanding and helpful and resolved the problem right away, and were also lovely to deal with. Thank you so much

Most of the games there are preowned, that's fine, it's just a better price for a game that's been used but still in condition. Like all of these stores actual merchandise varies location to location.

The staff were so helpful and kind! I previously spent 20 minutes in JB hifi and everyone was too busy to help me. EB was Amazing

Very bad customer service. I went in the store when it opened at 9am and the guy could not even go into the back for 30 seconds to get my console. He told me to wait another hr for his colleague to arrive. Then he gave me attitude when I came back into the store. They need to go to school to learn the basics in customer service!

Nice little game shop, come many times. Most staffs are friendly, one of the girl was awful with price match, I ended up went to JB hifi. Notice I'm not the only one with bad experience with this staff.

A girl named B*** gave me an ugly and impatient look when I made two enquiries about the game which I was about to buy. She certainty needs more training in customer sevice. Please remember to smile to a customer and be patient always.

Piper was super helpful but Scarlett refused to price match. I was waiting patiently in line whilst she took her time with the customers in front (completely fine). Zero empathy. Seriously why is there no flex on price matching? I drove specifically to your store to pricematch. I had vouchers to use. Otherwise I could've just purchased it online and had it delivered free. Why would you not want the sale? Maybe try to put customers front of mind rather than be stupidly and blindly 'by the book'. Seriously consider your stance on price matching. Everything is so much more accessible. You seriously do not need a business degree to see your sales will move to your competitors if you have price match policies that match only the stores in the 'CBD' that are in stock at the time of purchase. Decent but not all the staff seem well trained. When asked to price match some say yes immediately while others go ask their manager. Not many of them are very knowledgeable on products either.

When asked to price match with cherry collectables (a psychical TCG shop in Melbourne), they outright said no, despite being given one end of last year, the girl who served me wasn't polite either and gave me attitude

Came in to buy a ps5 and some accessories for work and was just given a flat no we don't have any nation wide. I offered to pay upfront and wait as I needed to make the purchase in '22 but didnt need to receive it straight away. No alternate options given. 10 min later I bought it at JB hifi. Eb's was already waning and this just closes the door for me.

They have a great selection of games (as well as plenty of other merchandise, which takes up a lot of space, but doesn’t detract too much).
The staff were knowledgeable and genuine when helping me to find the games I came in for.

Super friendly staff! I popped in a while back to look for some stuff I was after, and the guy working there (forgot his name haha) knew a lot about what I needed and made a bunch of recommendations which was cool too. I have to say the prices are a little high, since it’s an EBGames. But outside that everything else is cool. Gotta return soon!

The 2 girls at the counter couldn’t care less about customers. No effort was made to ask me if I need help.

Amazing service from the girls that were clearly under the pump today! Came in for my Click & Collect order with my daughter and it was all bagged up and ready to go within 15 minutes! Even managed to secure a few of the new Pokémon celebrations tins! All in all, will definitely be returning! Unfortunately, the guy ahead of us was causing the team a fair bit of grief over his friends order. Refused to show the order confirmation email from what I overheard. Pretty simple rules to follow when collecting a Click & Collect as stated on their website. Have I. D ready and the confirmation email. You're not special pal ;)

I had to pick up an item for a friend they were giving me so much unnessecary trouble, until I told them I had to go to my Grandpa's death viewing at a church, after I said this then they co-operated and gave me the item that was already paid for.

Do not support them, this little power trip of theirs was disgusting and uncalled for.
