EB Games

I've recently clicked & collected a brand new game from this store, but unfortunately the game case came without warranty seal and discs had signs of wear and tear (it must have been a preowned game). I think it was genuine mistake, but staff should definitely pay more attention.

Erin and Justin were absolutely fantastic! Had a defective PS5 that we had brought in and the process was super quick and easy. Their customer service was outstanding. Thanks guys for the good vibes!

Sarah was amazing and got me a controller which I'll be able to game with for a good while to come! For all your gaming needs, EB is the place to be!

Was there on 5 Dec late morn and staff at the counter was very friendly, polite, helpful - and hardworking!

Useless Company who can't get orders right or make up their minds, I pre ordered some cards months ago, paid in Full. Got told a month later half were cancelled and to go in to get the refund. So went in, then was told in store after they were on the phone with Head Office that my original full order will be fulfilled.
On release day i'm told I can only get half again.
Totally useless, no one knows anything.
Dying company anyway, just a matter of time.

This store has generally friendly and helpful staff. Never had a bad buying experience there.

However, be very careful of company policies, as I was forced to intervene in another customer's attempt to return a faulty product, because EB Games seems to want to subvert manufacturers' and statutory warranties, which is a practice in contravention of Australian Consumer Law.

The customer did manage to get a replacement (after the manager called HQ to confirm what I was saying), but I would highly suggest being familiar with Australian warranty regulations, when trying to return a product within its warranty period.

Always super helpful and friendly staff. Have been shopping at this store for years and have always experienced outstanding customer service.
Again today I called to ask questions about a pre-order, and I got a staff member named Steve who took his time to explain everything and do all he could to make sure I had plenty of options. 5 star!

The store is a little on the small side and they have a lot more gaming merch than actual games and consoles these days, but they have most things and staff are attentive to your needs.

Friendly staff - let me return a game and choose another. Great range, clearly labelled and always good deals. Great location and easy to get to.

This EB is really small and doesn't have much. Granted it is not the flagship store, but I feel every time I walk in here to find a good deal I walk out empty handed.

I think the most frustrating situation was the one time I tried buying Pokémon booster packs that were displayed on the shelf only to be told by staff at the counter that they had none of the series I wanted in stock and that they follow a protocol to display their sold out boosters regardless. So ridiculous I never forgot the experience.

Since the store is so small you can hear all of the non work related conversations staff are having since they usually talk loud enough for you to hear which doesn't make the shopping experience any better. They don't approach you to ask of there is anything they can help you with while you look through their messy product jungle of a store.

Try this particular store out if your expectations are low and are passing by for a gander. You might pleasantly surprised yourself.

Great customer service, I had a new three week old Xbox One S that would power on for five seconds and then power off. I bought it from another Ebgames shop and took it to this one. They were super helpful and swapped it for a brand new unit. Highly recommend this store and their great staff.

Well I love EB Games and though the store in the city is a lot bigger, I prefer to come here as the staff are friendly and helpful and like to joke around. The staff in the city are good too, but these guys are better and really know their stuff in gaming.

David was super easy to deal with, speedy service and told me of an offer I wasn't aware of which was great

OMG SO MANY SKYLANDERS! Can trade in my old skylanders, theres a giant tub of skylanders I dont have, ITS SKYLANDER HEAVEN! Even the staff, especially Erin love talkin skylanders and swapping stories with me! Soooo cool!

This is by far the best eb games store I have ever been to. The store is well organised and staff are super helpful, friendly and have great knowledge of their products.
