Usual country pub, public bar, overloaded by an over zealous bar tender. Checked out the dinner menu and it looks great, if a bit expensive for a country pub. However, I beleive that there is nowhere else to go for a decent meal in town.

Stayed at rv free camp site behind hotel. Clean with great lighting for courtyard BBQ tiolets and library. Meal in hotel was great and came with BUTTER & bread roll.

Absolutely lovely meal. Potato bake is to die for. Love the half serves. Plenty big enough for us oldies. Just a good size and didn't have to waddle home.

Just had lunch. OMG, fabulous. It's always been a good feed, same chef/cook as before. But on this cooler day a chicken snitz with the Turf sauce hit the spot. And HE had the rump steak with veg, said it was perfectly cooked for his order of medium to well. One of the best he's had. As a late birthday lunch with a lovely Hesketh Cab Sav, nice friendly efficient staff, couldn't ask for more.

Original old country pub, not many left that are this good!

Nice friendly service. The pub was rebuilt in the Spanish style in 1929 and provides an attached cafe which has recently been refurbished with a modern style. The cafe is open from 10: 00am so is a little late for a breakfast drop in.

Stopped in for dinner at this great pub. We ordered an eye fillet served blue, and it was delicious! The staff are very friendly too. We'll be back.

Always agreat meal, love the open fire to warm up on a cold night, original old country pub, not many left that are this good.

Stopped overnight at the Travellers Rest Caravan park 6/1/23. Pub was a 5 min walk.

Classic old hotel largely untouched by modernization. Great selection of food and beverages served by friendly staff.

We had an amazing stay at the East Charlton Hotel, a very clean hotel, very nice accomodating staff with delicious food ️

Had dinner Tuesday night. Staff very friendly. The kitchen was really on the ball hardly any waiting time and the food was delicious. Very enjoyable.

The publican Greg and his wife Leanne gave us a warm personal welcome. The pub buzzed with happy chatter. The meal on Wednesday Parma night was superb. The

Great ambience and happy, friendly staff. The interior is amazing and a reminder of the style, design and layout of the original pub. Puts to shame some over renovated, soulless metro disasters. Stay for one more pot!

While working up this way, had tea 3 nights straight and did not disappoint.
Washed down with a few schooners. (DELISH) totally satisfied.
Owners and staff great, don't forget to mention IT'S YA BIRTHDAY.

What a GREAT country pub. Barstaff are very friendly. Beers are cold, and the owners are really down to earth people with great country values. We stopped for a lunchtime beer and stayed ages.
