East Brunswick Hotel

I think I have a new fav place to play board game at.
The bar is very clean and well ventilated.
The staff are extremely friendly, and I gotta give a shot out to Chris, the bartender, for his unique style and his professionalism.
Defo coming back.

We are currently staying at EBH. What an incredible find this little gem is! We wanted to be closer to where family live rather than the city, so took a little risk rather than the usual city hotel accommodation. So so so pleased we did! Still so close to city yet far enough away that it's that bit quieter. The restaurants up this end are also fabulous. The room is huge! Bigger than my first 1 bedroom apartment. The staff have been a joy too! Thank you. 2 nights to go.we will be back.

I have stayed twice in the last 2 weeks and it’s wonderful place to stay. I stayed with small children and Kate the manager and other staff were very accommodating. The rooms are new, clean, spacious and quiet. Great value for money. The service is excellent. I would highly recommend.

Parma special on a Tuesday night. Excellent parma - probably a birdie if your scoring on golf scale. Nicely done up inside with a good selection of beers and a big old projector screen playing your favourite sports.

Just spent 5 nights at the East Brunswick and can't speak highly enough of the staff and accommodation. Central to everything, trams at the doorstep and could walk to Sydney Rd. Staff were lovely and welcoming and made the trip great. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable.
They also have some great craft beers on tap!

A decent variety of beers and very acommodating staff.

The pianos were thoroughly enjoyable

Booked for 2 nights earlier in the year, cancelled well within the cancelation period, but was still charged for 2 nights. No response to emails or calls. Still waiting to get my $418.00 back.

Updated 26/8: hotel made contact and corrected the situation. I am reimbursed.

What a sad pub this is! Location & look is so inviting. It has a great look but just food & staff dont deliver. We were there on a Tuesday night, so knew it would be quiet.

Food was bland, and menu typical pub which is what we expected. My chicken schnitzel was dry & my husbands fried chicken burger was also not very tasty.

The service was remotely engaging, as staff are obviously not interested in working here. A shame considering the great location it's in.

Five stars all day. Lovely corner of Brunswick, staff make you feel like a local; genuine service with a smile. Food absolutely banging, teriyaki salmon a highlight. Nice range of rotating taps and a good selection of unusual spirits. Love the vibe. Cheers!

The rooms are amazing. Big space, huge shower and sitting room. Comfy bed.
Can't praise the room enough. I room like this would cost many hundreds of dollars more if in Melbourne. There are tasty cocktails and a piano bar. Really great stay. Thanks.

Just wanted to thank the team for a wonderful night celebrating my Sons 18th. Everything was so elegant and professional. The food was outstanding and the service was on point. Needless to say it was a great experience that just effortlessly flowed. A special thanks to Jim, Josh, Lachlan and Fernando.

Not sure it's a good look when the place shuts at 8.30 on a Sunday when advertised to 11 and then the staff stay drinking to 9 30 in public view

Fantastic venue for a birthday function, great friendly staff, good food and wide selection of drinks. Management was very accommodating, flexible and easy going. We certainly made the right choice thanks to Kelli and Connor.

Went there for dinner with 8 of us and liked it. My food was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. They have a MASSIVE screen, if you into your sport.

I didn't stay here (although friends of mine have) but the customer service re: bookings was great, very helpful and accommodating staff!
Regarding their stay- rooms were gorgeous and comfortable and again, they were treated excellently by staff.

I just want to take time to highly recommend the East Brunswick Hotel if you are looking for a venue to host a function.
We held my wife’s 50th Birthday party in the cellar room and could not fault the service, food or atmosphere of the venue. All of our friends that attended were very impressed as well, so a big thank you to all of the staff who ensured the night was a huge success

There was no servicing of the rooms for a 7 night stay. Towels changed only once on request. Studio room needed an upgrade - chairs were grubby, one had a wobbly leg and the carpet had stains. Many different WiFi addresses (guests, pub, hotel) and passwords didn't work. Bed and linen were very good however linen not changed for long stay guests. On the upside, the food served from the bar was top class. Our Studio Room was certainly not value for money. All staff were very helpful and always pleasant.

Stayed here on 10/09/22 for a special occasion at a nearby venue. Prior to heading out to the venue we hit the bar for a drink and a quick bite to eat. Food was great and decent selection of beers on tap.

We were given the “Helmut room”. It is quite different than your standard hotel experience but that was to be expected in this boutique type building. Room was clean and as described. We did have an issue with our room that was not discovered until late at night but staff on duty did their best to rectify at the time. Management made it right in the end and handled it well. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great local pub. Good range of classic pub meals as well as some healthier options. Easy ordering and payment system through the website means you can order and pay for drinks and meals easily with your smartphone wothout having to leave your table.
