East Bentleigh Primary School

Your school is exceptional, but I have a lot of doubts; some of the teachers there do not listen to what their students have to say. The tour of the school was okay, but the oval had lots of rubbish and some of the teachers pick sides with the students in some situations. The school should have a wellbeing for the students instead. The online learning was terrible and stressful for the students.

I used to go to this school and it was realy fun and I made a lot of friend here too hope others thing the same thing hope your kids have losts of fun at East Bentleigh primary school.

Best school in Victoria. Principal is fantastic, caring and many, many years of experience, knows all the kids names amazing!
Thursdays we have the community market after school the kids love it.
We also have the farmers market every month, the 4th Saturday, details on website.

I love this school. Great integration of the cooking program - beautiful grounds and very caring teachers and staff. Fantastic Steiner program - one of the best state schools in Victoria.

A beautiful school with a great "bush-feel" to it. Highly committed teachers, friendly and helpful admin staff. Steiner stream provides a wonderful primary school education - fostering the creative and artistic in all kids - teaching them how to think for themselves rather than being stuffed with information. The breadth and depth of their project work is excellent - no tinfoil fish here.

The teachers are OK but the communication from the school to parents is poor and they don't even acknowledge bullying problems let alone attempt to fix them. There is a reason that this is the only school in the area that is not full.

A beautiful school with a country feel in the heart of suburbia. Teachers friendly, approachable and focused. Best kept secret in education in the local area. If you feel your children are getting lost in big, super schools where staff dont know them or their name, give East Bentleigh ps a go.
Its like a country school where everyone is friends and enjoy their learning journey together!

We are in our second year at this school and love the beautiful grounds and thoughtfully considered spaces for different ages. Great sense of community here - dedicated teachers and active parents. There is an emphasis on caring for each other, community and environmental sustainability.

I have two girls at EBPS main stream. I feel that this is the best place for any child to have the first experience with being part of a system. The school doesn’t just say they see your child, they really do. My kids have the amazing opportunity to learn in a nurturing environment that sees them as individuals and meets their personal needs. The dedicated teachers at EBPS teach my kids much more then the curriculum. They teach them to be better people that respect others no matter how they are. My kids love going to school! That is a present I gave them for the rest of their lives.

We moved to BE from another mainstream school that had absolutely no soul. With Steiner running concurrently in this school, I feel the mainstream delivery has a dimension of care that the other schools we have looked at did not. Natural principles with a beautiful teaching garden and kitchen makes this school stand out, and my children love it.
I must remark on the kids at this school - they really are grounded and calm - significantly so compared to our last school! Really nice kids, and friendly non-pretentious parents. We felt at home straight away - I met more parents in one week here than in three years at the other school! It's been a very good experience.
