Early Image

We had a really positive experience at early imaging prahran. I called and got an appointment same day! Our appointment was with David and he was amazing! We booked in for a 32 week 4D scan and the pictures were so clear.
I recommend them very highly!

I went on the website around 8: 30am and received a call around 9am, was able to be seen that same day at 11am. My partner and I were welcomed and both felt super comfortable. The room was set up beautifully and the whole process was reassuring and simple. Having the photos and videos sent to my phone was amazing and for the price we paid, it was well worth it!

Really disappointed with this service last night. We attended an appointment at 7: 30pm for a reassurance scan. Nowhere on the website does it state (that I can see plainly) that there is an additional charge for evening scans. The price simply says $150 for a single baby. We had the scan and were then charged $200. When questioned, the guy said that it's an extra $50 for 'after hours'. If you are a 24 hour service, there is no such thing as 'after hours'.

He didn't wear a mask at all the entire time we were there which is very concerning as we are at the height of Covid cases in Victoria at the moment.

He was quite rough with the scan and poked and prodded at the baby to get it in a good position to see it, to the point where it was uncomfortable and hurt. Felt like he was tormenting the poor little thing. Was really upset about it when I went home.

When we paid at the end we went into the office part where other client/customer forms were splayed out on his desk for all to see. I saw other people's names, addresses, due dates! Highly unprofessional. I wish I'd grabbed my form back and taken it with me. They collect a lot of unnecessary information about you and have a disclaimer on the back where hidden about half way through is a clause about passing on your information to third parties. The disclaimer starts and finishes with stuff about not holding them responsible for errors or whatever blah blah blah but then in the middle where I suppose they're assuming people just skim over it, there is this clause about providing info to third parties. I felt uncomfortable signing it but was really worried about the baby so just did it as I wanted the scan.

The facility just feels sleazy and unclean and I was left feeling anxious about the collection of my personal information and the fact that others would probably see it right there on his desk!

You have to write down your due date on the form which is fine. Not sure why though as he clearly didn't bother to look at it when he measured a thigh bone or something and said 'due 11th March? ' to which I said no, 3rd March. All that did was make me worry that the baby isn't growing properly. He makes it very clear that he's not giving a medical opinion so please don't comment on things like due dates when it's subjective anyway, especially when you've asked me to write it down already then no even noted it.

At the end of the day I got see and hear my baby's heartbeat which was all I was wanting to do, so in that respect he performed the service. Apart from that, I left feeling very anxious about the baby's growth, the poking during the scan and just overall violated by the collection of information and possibility (probability) of others seeing it.

Early image is the ideal place to go and have your scan done. As a very nervous first time parent to be i want to thank David for a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I will most definitely be doing all my scans with him and in the luxury practice. Super cost effective and available any time needed. What more could you want. Thanks David and see you soon.

This place is second to none. Absolutely amazing. Come here first! We will be doing all our future scans here. Never have i entered a medical establishment and felt so welcomed, warm and relaxed. Any doctor should model themselves off this business. Simply amazing!

It unfortunate we first we to amazing scans where we were disrespected and then had our appointment cancelled. Do not go to amazing scans!

This is our 3rd baby and have been coming to Early image since our first baby in 2014. They have always been incredibly welcoming and friendly.
The room is spacious and homely, it's a relaxing comfortable experience and a beautiful opportunity to see our babies on the big screen (also their gel is always warm!) I can't wait to go back again in January for our 4D scans.

We used to get the images and videos on CD but they now use an app which is great as no matter where I am, I can click into the app and watch videos of my baby boy jumping around and it gets me through any day:)

Lovely experience for my 20 weeks gender reveal! Very gentle and caring and made all the difference being able to have my partner and daughter in the room. Highly recommend

I highly recommend Early Image. David was lovely and took the time to show us our baby during the gender scan. He also engaged and included my children throughout the ultrasound and made sure they knew what they were seeing on the screen. Overall lovely experience and will definitely be back for a 5D scan in the next few weeks!

I had a great experience yesterday at Early image, I was having really painful cramps, and being so early on in my pregnancy I automatically thought it was worst case scenario, I called Early Image and he got me in right away and instantly was put at ease when I saw everything was normal. I’m so glad I heard about this place because it really eases anxiety between scans if you’re having some strange symptoms.

We had a great experience at Early Image! We got the 3D/4D scan, I was about 29 weeks and we got great pics of our Baby boy. David was very enthusiastic and made the whole experience amazing. Due to Covid my husband had not been able to come with me to any earlier ultrasounds at other clinics due to their policies. However, he was able to come with me to the appointment at Early Image and finally get to experience it with me. Our bubs was not cooperating at our first appointment, but David allowed us to come back the following week and we were able to get amazing pics and videos! Highly highly recommend Early Image to everyone!

We’ve been multiple times throughout the pregnancy and every time has been amazing! Very supportive and reassuring for those early days and then so much fun to get to see his beautiful face in 5D at our last scan in the third trimester. Amazing quality, great service, highly recommend!

From the moment I walked into Early Image it was very comforting and welcoming. The atmosphere was very calming and therapeutic. David was extremely friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. He was very informative and got some great snaps of my soon to be baby boy. Early Image is highly recommended in my opinion.

I had a little bit of spotting last week (19 weeks 2 days pregnant) and I called all the hospitals because I was really worried. But all of them said that they won't do it since I am not 20 weeks or more and told me to watch my symptoms and call back if there is more bleeding. Luckily I found Early Image online and called David and he told me to come immediately. He was really kind and friendly. The ambiance was so soothing and I could sleep peacefully because I got the reassurance that everything was okay. I would really recommend this place.
