45 Always good here. Hadn't had anything to eat on my long trip back to Cohuna. Bought a meat pie and.
Excellent service, product and facilities. Has clean toilet also. Great place to stop off at. Check it out, maybe for breakfast lunch or snacks. Pretty easy parking and have asmall outdoor eat area in front.

I had the Pepper Steak Pie and the Gaytime Vanilla slice. The pie was good. The Gaytime Vanilla slice was one of the best I've had. It wasn't an overly thick gooey layer of icing on top but an adequately thin layer of Golden Gaytime flavoured icing with little crispy bits on top. The pastry was flaky and not dense like in some vanilla slices you can find elsewhere.
My husband had the gourmet lamb pie and raved about it. Coffee was good. The complimentary little cookie that came with the coffees was surprisingly good, in fact it was excellent.
Don't serve fried food if your going to display it and not serve it due to being too cold. I said no worries you can dunk them again happy to wait only to be told they can't because they turned their fryers off. At 2pm LUNCH TIME that's ridiculous.
On the window says they are open till 5.30 and turns the fryer off at 2pm. Makes no sense at all.
Had similar incident a couple months coming in at 10am for chips and couldn't due to being too early and fryers not turned on.
Going to this bakery was a special place for my partner and myself but no more now, we've had enough.
Love this bakery shop. Must have their big breakfast pie, egg and bacon rolls, and all kinds of cream cakes!
The food was really nice, and thanks to the local popularity of the bakery, you really jave to time it right to beat the rush.
Interior could use a freshen up but that's a really minor thing
Great service and enjoyed everything we bought, bacon and egg roll, coffee and cakes, will be back again.
Always loved this place! This has been my go to for pastries for years now and nothing compares! Lovely staff and very reasonable prices, can’t go wrong!
I came in recently and had a lovely breakfast here. The service was friendly and the food and coffees came out fast. The pies are also consistently good, by far the best I have had in Victoria. They offer a huge variety of pies, pastries, and sweets. I have always been impressed with everything that I’ve tried. My favourite is the chicken and mushroom pie, a must try!
Man has this place changed, & NOT for the better!
I used to go in & have their "big breakfast" quite a bit. The plate was massive, 2 eggs, sausages, tomato, heaps of bacon, mushrooms & baked beans all on sour dough toast! You couldn't see the plate & it was a huge effort to get through it. So you can imagine my complete & utter embarrassment when I recommended the Eaglehawk Bakery & to friends who'd come down from Qld for Christmas hollies, talked up their (EB) big breakies & all they got was 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon & a slice of tomato on normal toast, & lettuce, not even salad just lettuce with no dressing, served on a paper plate not less! Aaaaand the price had gone UP, with 4 items less on a paper plate!
Guys seriously, if your cook can't operate a dishwasher or fully understand what a big breakfast consists of? Then don't serve meals, stick to pies, pasties & sausage rolls in bags!
A big breakfast anywhere in this Country, & for that matter, any other Country I've ever visited, is just that, fully loaded with bacon, eggs, sausages, mushrooms, baked beans, a hash brown & grilled tomato on toast or sour dough toast! NEVER HAS IT EVER BEEN & NEVER WILL IT EVER BE "JUST BACON & EGGS" that is a separate menu item altogether!
What you're doing is false advertising & ripping people off! #shameonyou
Absolutely love the food here. Yes be careful of your wallet before entering, ohhhh and the yummy cake/slices.
Definitely worth every bite.
Huge range of pies, sandwiches and cakes. Cakes are always fresh and tasty. Good coffee and hot chocolate options. Plenty of indoor dining space. Added bonus of onsite toilets.
Two doors, one street level, one with step.
Slight ramps inside
as you turn sharp corners
to serving area.
Possible wheelchair friendly,
but, will need help with front door.
Good food and drinks.
Will need help removing drink choice from tall cabinets.
Sandwich bar and hot foods
like pies/pasties and sausage rolls.
Good selection of bread,
cakes, (large and small), slices
and other delicious treats.
Coffee and tea barista.
Toliets-unisex has floor level door,
female has slight step up into hall,
then sharp turn into female toliets.
Male toliets at end of hall.
Eating area cluttered with tables
and chairs. Heater in winter.
Child seats available.
Customer service so bad it made me feel uncomfortable to be there.
And to top it off Hair in pastie. Not good enough!
The bread is delicious, the service for coffee is a bit slow as very busy, the hot chocolate is not well made as it remains in the bottom of the cup. Pastries are good, but everything is served on/in takeaway containers, so if you are looking for fine dining, not suitable
High tin bread is lovely, as are their cakes, especially the Beestings, they also have the best sausage rolls in Bendigo, they actually put onion and carrot in them that you can taste, they aren't just meat in pastry like some bakeries put out, Eaglehawk Bakeries have flavour.
Eaglehawk bakery is consistent. I wouldn't say the food or service is amazing, but you won't be disappointed to go in and grab some bakery food.
Just had breakfast here and it was very poor. When we asked for scramble eggs with our breakfast, we were told "we don't do scramble eggs" so we settled for fried. Then the gentleman behind us ordered scramble eggs and now they do them, just not for us. On the up side, the bits of egg shell in my fried eggs were free of charge. We will not be recommending this place to anyone as I would hate to lose my friends because of a bad breakfast.
Awful waited for a pie for 5 minutes went back to the counter after telling me 5 minutes and there was none left
By far the BEST rolls I've ever had! I don't know what they do to make them sooo fluffy, but just keep doin it peeps, they are still fresh the next day and that's unheard of, great work ️
Excellent customer service
and they make excellent toasted sandwiches, cakes are yummy as well.
