Eagle Point Caravan Park reviews
25Thank you for Supporting the Scouts as we set up our new Eagle point site, the new foreshore building and playground are great.
Awesome caravan park, used to stay here with family quite a lot until we left the park, it was an experience to visit again:)
Lovely quiet park with very clean camp kitchen and amenities.
Lovely friendly staff.
The place is a 3rd grade hole. Mouldy showers, unfriendly cleaner. I don't reccommend it at all.
Nice little place to stay a couple nights. Especially after about 5 days of living in bush, getting your hands on a Milo Icecream and Coffee at the kiosk made my day.
Great park clean and a bit old but enjoyed our stay overlooking the lake. Rocky the cocky had a good time with Danes kids. Cheers and I recommend this place
Great caravan park in a beautiful location. Old but clean amenities, reasonable prices, no frills only the bits you need.
Pet friendly. Clean amenities. We were there at the end of February and the park was very empty. Lake across the road. Plenty of places to walk.
Scchhh, don't tell anyone that this park is a gem, right on the water's edge, 15 min drive to Bairnsdale if needed, 5 min to Paynesville, lots of areas to walk or ride the bush bike. Sites are flat & grassy, amenities block have been revamped and super clean. Kim and Billy (managers) are super helpful and nothing is a problem for them. We will be back to visit
I made the mistake of staying here for one week which coincided with a labour day weekend. Amenities need a lot more cleaning with the heavy use of so many guests. Unpowered sites have no water (first time I have come across this) and laundry tub has no hot water. I also don't enjoy listening to other peoples loud music from sites a fair distance away. Luckily my near neighbours were very quiet. Not the park for me, I am too much of a grey nomad who enjoys peace and quiet.will not return.
We have an on site van and absolutely love spending as much time here as we can. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Facilities are always clean
Close to lots fun things places, our camp site was bit steep for our caravans, so it still land side way even using chunks to lift up. Others are good.
Its great good amenities, wasn't expecting to get all this at a caravan site. Camp kitchen, wash your dishes with hot water, microwave, toaster, kettle, hot plates, showers, toilets, BBQ areas.
Ill definitely be back when I'm up this way again.
This is a great place to be. Nice and quiet. Close to the lake and clean water for swimming. Will definitely be back
The best value-for-money caravan and camping park we stayed in. Toilets and showers were clean, kitchen has utensils you can use, manager was nice and the water view is great.
Beautiful peaceful location next to a 10 hectare reserve and right on King Lake. Only about 7kms from Paynesville. Will definitely return.
Great caravan park and camping Choice of cabins and powered sites few yards to lake and Mitchell River Well set up.and maintained Stayed there while at the fires will.be going back
Great quiet location just out of Paynesville.
Not a park with heaps of facilities, as it has the natural environment to keep the family busy.
Took one star off for the dicky hot water system that wouldn't stay on, but quick trip to shower block solved that.
Went here the Australia Day weekend just after 2019/20 fires and Primary school kids had a ball. All the locals we met were so grateful we came so soon after the bushfires to support the community and it made us feel really welcome and happy we decided to come down.
The area is one of the best places for Australian widelife. In 24hrs we saw echidnas dozens of koalas, one of the biggest red kangaroo's I've ever seen, an Emu, crazy looking spiders, and countless bird and parrot varieties.
All wild and only 3hrs from Melbourne!
Great place. Booked last minute for Australia day weekend. Hosts are awesome and had lots of local knowledge. Camped in the non power lake view sites. Close to water and jetty. Hard fishing jetty but still managed to produce some Bream, King George Whiting and even a Yellowtail King fish that gave both my gear and I a challenge.
