Great prices considering it’s a local family business. Reminds me of the days before nationwide chain stores. They know there stuff and have a genuine love for the animals.

Was here for the first time yesterday. I didn’t buy anything, but I spent 15 minutes with Rosie the bird and it was the most fulfilling 15 minutes of my life. Will come back for pet supplies and to cuddle Rosie again.

A local landmark. I can't think of any other place in Melbourne like this one. If it ain't human, you'll find food here to feed it. Put this on a tourist list of places to visit. Not for the claustrophobic.

This shop has a good variety and not too expensive but I found the staff quite …cold and not very friendly.not warm. I don’t want to go back because of this reason. A smile and warm personalities go a really long way.

I love the shopkeepers here. They are very present with their customer service. They also will suggest the best cat food and toys for your floof. This hard worker didn't complain once and had nothing to say but good energy.

Very knowledgeable on pet and stock food.
Also well informed as to remedial proccedure for pets and stock aswell.
Reasonably priced and deliver most heavy items to one's car.

Always has a good supply of pet products at reasonable prices. Definitely shop here if you're keen to go local.

What a great pet stock store. Parking is a pain but the customer service makes up for it. Prices are great, will definitely be back

The owner, old woman, has no sense of social awareness or respect for customers. We spent $500 on items to set up our new puppies and needed to return later on the same day to purchase a few more items. We were treated like a burden and annoyance rather than valued customers.

We called ahead of time to let them know exactly the item we were after. The old woman she had no idea what a "Doggy Play Pen" was, and rudely said "Come back on Monday. " (from a Saturday visit)

Another man (wearing a high Vis yellow uniform, unsure of role, perhaps co-owner to the old woman with the disgusting attitude) also treated us like a burden for arriving 10mins before closing. The verbal/emotional abused continued when he left a departing comment saying "I guess I'm suppose to say thank you, for your businss" in a sarcastic and malicious tone.

Even though the store has plenty of stock of pet supplies at reasonable prices, the store is an absolute mess. Tiny aisles, exposed treats with no lids, an angry cat that hisses at your pet. If you show up with your dog, ensure you steer away as it might attack it.

Plus the archaic point of sales system is a hand written tally of your goods added up by simple addition, make sure your total cost is correct. Better yet, visit another pet store.

The karmic value bestowed upon people by the owner and unknown role of the old man will surely come back to them in a negative way.

Will NEVER shop here again and suggest you don't either.

A wonderful family business, friendly helpful staff. They have the largest range of everything pet related products I've ever seen, couldn't recommend them any higher, probably the best prices in Melbourne. Have been a customer for over 20 year's

A pet owner paradise, an Aladdins cave of everything you'd ever need to feed your dog and chook. (haven't looked for cat stuff). All is good quality and healthy options. Prices are often better than internet too. Rubbish parking options but worth the trip. Only down side, staff can be a bit 'stern', otherwise they'd be 5 stars.

Good price for Science dog food. Helpful staff especially the guy who carries the bag to my car.

Appalling customer service.
We visited this business on the weekend and spent a considerable amount getting our home puppy ready.
We recommended the business to family who also visited the shop on that same day and were nothing but abused and treated with very little respect from the staff. She came into the shop 10 minutes before closing and this aggravated the staff for some reason. The male staff was obnoxious beyond belief and should be not serving customers. The younger staff members also watched in disbelief.
What we thought was a family ran local business supporting other local family’s has sadly lost our business and anyone we know.
