Duong Melbourne reviews
14 Pretty decent food. Prices are good. Seems to be relatively popular which is a good sign.
Have been there 5 or so occasions and still the same quality food.
I would recommend this place for those who enjoy Vietnamese food or those who want to try.
The food was amazing I would recommend trying a little bit of everything, especially the gỏi.
The service was excellent. Staff is friendly, definitely come back
The staff was rude, they didn’t take any notes and made mistakes, I got the wrong dish but they didn’t apologise. And they charged the double price of what I was supposed to get. I should have checked when I got the wrong dish but they could apologise, just stood there.
Loved my experience there!
Food was such a great portion, and delicious!
Will definitely visit again
Duong is a lovely friendly restaurant with a great menu. The Authentic Spring Rolls with Noodles were amazing!
I bought 4 meals on Sunday. They were horrible. First of all, there were 2 serves of Bun Dau Mam Tom, the sauce was too watery, I didn't feel any taste, Cha Com was too dry, I thought I ate cardboard. Second of all, there were 1 serve of Bun Cha Ha Noi, all the porks and Cha were the way too dry, I even soaked the meat into the fish sauce but didn't feel any better, so I just threw it away. Lastly, there were 1 serve of Bun Oc, the soup were terrible, I didn't taste anything, it was tasteless, I even thought I ate rice noodles with just plain chicken stock. I paid over $60 for those, I didn't know what you guys done on your foods. I ate from your restaurant many times ago, but this time was the most terrible I ever had. I just want to let you know about your foods and I will never come back.
The best Northern style Viet food.
Authentic taste, fresh ingredients. Easy parking location.
A hidden gem, Vietnamese restaurant, in housing area. Their food is super authentic and the free range chicken salad is really fresh.
The most authentic Vietnamese I’ve ever had in Melbourne if not the whole of Australasia! Try their combination platters…
Highly recommended.
The salad very tasty. Sweet, sour, salty all balance. Will come back again.
Great restaurant hidden in the suburbs. If you are new to vietnamese food, this menu could be a little confusing to the unaccustomed. But don't stress it all tastes nice and there is something for everyone.
If your are looking for something that is very similar to vietnam cuisine today that is not westernised, or you are a vietnamese migrant that misses home. This menu will bring back memories. Menu is decent size with some street food options.
Considering its hidden location, the shop can get busy on the weekends and it's a fairly new shop.
Been here a few times. Food was good. Service was average. Staff and even owners are kinda unorganised with setup. Sometimes it feels like a kindergarten with 10 different kids (from the owners and their friends) aged 7 and below, running around the restaurant screaming and coughing into your meal lol. On another note it kinda brings out the authentic chaotic experience often seen in Vietnam.
We had nice dinner in here, somehow bun cha was not as good as the one we had in hanoi, work on it guys!
Good food at reasonable prices. We went on a Sunday and a few things on the menu were not available but otherwise a relaxing lunch.
