Dunstan Reserve reviews
12Good new outdoor gym equipment. Just be careful with some Polish? Scotish? Accent small kids (3-6yr?) with mum. Kids run around gym equipments, swinging around when I Was using equipment. No discipline, just talking to other mother while Kids were running wild like horse. Even with cough! My Experience affected by these people, sad.
This is a stop we do when travelling to cobram from Melbourne our dogs get a run and there's a tap for fresh water, and toilets were open.
It is a good local ground. The Souva's were excellent. It was great to see so many young kids enjoying what looked to be a fantastic playground
Fabulous outdoor areas for kids. Playground and open oval for running and kicking a ball for older kids
Update: Dunstan Reserve has been given a much needed update. 2 new playgrounds, new BBQ, outdoor gym and seating. Also planted alot of new trees. It took years but finally some new life. Will upload photos soon. Well done Moreland.
Next to no shade around entire walking track. 2 poorly maintained BBQs. Instead of fixing 1 of them they have just put a sign saying use the other one. This was 5 years ago. 1 of the 2 drink fountains also on this side of the park was not working. Rather than fix it they just ripped it out. 1 playground is wooden and has a nice feel to it but has zero shade. The other park is an awful old plastic mess that has been here since i was a kid. Great little community garden and updated soccer oval and club rooms. This park has the potential for so many families to benefit but has too many flaws. Our house backs onto dunstan reserve yet we would rather drive to princess park or queens park.
Awesome park for taking the dog for a walk with a brand new playground just opened a couple of days ago.
This is a great place to take you god for a walk, there is a club that meets here at 7am and 7pm
Pleasant green space away from the noise of the city. Features community gardens and sports ovals
In this place, we can do a lot of things. Football, basket, running, and also playgroun for child
Contrary to some of the photos, Dunstan Reserve does not have: a beach, a harbor, a lion. Definitely no lion.
Two soccer ovals here, one seems to be closed off for public use. Plenty of dog walkers in the morning and sports players in the afternoon. Park has club rooms which are kept close to the public but it does have two public toilets that were nice and clean when I went. There is a half court basketball ring and a smallish playground. Also has a bbq that looks dirty but I believe it still works.
Favourite place to walk my pooch. Very large park with lots of greenery and a gorgeous community run vege garden too!
