Can't say I've ever thought to review a doctor's surgery before, but was quite surprised at the poor feedback here. I think we've seen most of the GPs on staff, and aside from a couple (can't gel with them all!) I think they have all been amazing in their care and treatment of myself and my family.

Reception staff are responsive, friendly and whilst sometimes there are sometimes small waits / delays getting seen, I also appreciate when a couple of extra minutes are taking on consults that need them, so can't truly complain.

So glad to have this clinic close to our family home, and our family is truly better for the empathetic care and treatment we've received over the last few years.

Was coming here throughout my pregnancy and after for baby check ups. Recently went to book in for an appointment and realised I’d have to pay for an appointment even though I’m on a pension.not everyone can afford to see a doctor and there’s not many bulk billing clinics around anymore that are actually decent. Disappointing.

I had a GP feel very comfortable telling me his opinion on my tattoos whilst I was receiving a skin check. It was very uncomfortable for me and very unnecessary for him to insert his personal opinion on tattoos. Comments included “they’re weird” “you’ll regret them one day” “I don’t understand “ “you might want to think about getting more in the future” I did not ask for a personal opinion, I paid $110 for a skin check, not too be judged by a middle aged man.

I have been attending Dundas street clinic for more than 20 years. Dr Danny Lipson is OUTSTANDING. ALL three of our children see him-two are now adults and they CHOOSE to see him. Also very very impressed with Dr Vida Dabestani, whom I see if Dr Lipson isn’t available. She’s absolutely lovely, and thorough. The staff are great, particularly Marissa, and Helen. I know after reading these that some others have had a bad experience at the clinic, but I’ve also seen the reception staff treated poorly by demanding patients. Not one time have I ever been treated rudely by any of the reception staff.

Very disappointed with my last visit, I have been going for years to Dundas Medical Clinic. My usual doctor is Dr Lee who was unable to see me since she was away. So unfortunately had to see one of the other doctors, she was so awful, she should never be allowed to be a GP. She was so rude to me. I am still deciding what steps to take here.

Ask to have a review and to see a female doctor. I was asked if I have sore throat, cough or feverish. I said no and that I’m triple vaccinated, just needed longer appointment for a new script and to review my medications as I haven’t seen a doctor for a long time. I was told that they had to ask the doctor if it was ok for them to book an appointment for. The medical receptionist rang two days later to organize an appointment a week later! Apparently they had to do this because of Covid! Really? !

Very condescending counter staff. Quiet rude to paitients, when you ask to speak to management they gleefully tell you it will take two weeks for such a conversation. They treat certain patients like second class citizens. After 13 of being a patient, I think it's time to find a new doctor's surgery. Very, very disappointed with the service

I was extremely disappointed with my doctor for forgetting to write & send a referral to the hospital following our Telehealth Consultation. I rang up the hospital two weeks later to find out no such referral was made and that it would take 3 weeks to process a new one. Further, I had missed out on the hospital’s program and couldn’t be accommodated for a scan on site. So I rang up the clinic and the receptionist said she would message the doctor who was working from home. I rang up the next day to check and no such message was left behind for the doctor. So I demanded that I talk to another doctor who to be honest was very helpful. He then asked the receptionist to fax my documents and left me a hard copy for collection. I thought it was unfair that I was charged another $75 for something the first doctor didn’t do. Anyway I tried not to make a big deal of it but when I came to collect the documents, I decided to check and was informed that the documents have yet to be faxed to the hospital… yet again! I was furious! Additionally, a script was also missing which the second doctor had promised to leave behind. Now the receptionist said she’ll leave a message for the doctor. I’ve put my foot down and won’t be paying any extra charges this time around. I have very little confidence in the way staff communicate and the standards of patient care. I definitely will not be coming back again and will not be recommending this practice.

Dr Lee is absolutely incredible, I was recommended by a friend to see her. She is very patient and takes the time to listen. Worth the wait to see her!

The rudest receptionist I've ever encountered. Avoid this practice at all costs if you feel you should be treated as basic human being.

Came here for a covid vaccine appointment and Dr Mark Michail took time to explain all the pros and cons to me clearly. He didn't pressure me or dissuade me in any way, just provided the facts and information so that I was informed. He answered my questions and addressed any concerns I had. Had such a pleasant experience and the nurse that administered the shot was so nice and encouraging as well. Shot was given swiftly with minimal pain. I then went back for a separate consult with Dr Kafayat Lee. As others have mentioned, Dr Lee took time to listen and did not rush me, she made me feel at ease. She is in HIGH demand so she's always booked out in advance - for very good reason. I had to get some blood works done and had a pleasant experience as well. My blood was taken swiftly with no bruising or pain in my arm after. I had a positive experience in both my visits.

I would highly recommend both Dr Kafayat Lee and Dr Vida Dabestani. They both made me feel really validated in my concerns and have taken their time to assess my symptoms and make appropriate referrals so that I can get to the bottom of my health issues. They have also always ran on time. It can be tricky to get in to see Dr Lee at times but I think that reflects her strength as a doctor.

I was seeing the incompetent Dr. Sarah Willard during my first pregnancy. She refused to give me a referral to test my iron levels among other things I asked for. Luckily my neutropath organised blood tests for me, to pay for out of my pocket. Being anaemic I've had to change my diet considerably and increase iron supplements to maintain a desirable level. I also expressed to Willard i wanted the option of knowing who my midwife/s will be throughout the process and only recently found out that I missed the boat because Willard never bothered to refer me to that hospital programme. Sarah Willard plays a doctor for the payslip and doesn't care for her patients. She's also recently returned to work from being on maternity leave so there's really no excuse for her to provide such poor service to someone who is going through the same experience she just went through.
If you can, avoid this money hungry careless and incompetent doctor.

Booked through HotDoc and was never informed that it was not bulk billed. TV in the waiting room was up way too loud. Doctor was picking dry skin flakes off his face and flicking them onto the keyboard, whilst breathing heavily. Didn't even manually examine the injured area, assess functionally or check for pain, sent me off with basic first aid advice. Truly less helpful than Web MD. The most incredible part was when they called a few hours later telling me I forgot to pay the $75, which I was never at any stage informed of. Something seems to be wrong there. Give it a miss.

My usual doctors are outstanding but I haven’t been able to book an appointment with Dr Lee or Mark for the last few visits and ended up seeing another doctor. This other doctor has been incredibly rude, unhelpful and insulting. Today I called and he’s refused to listen and sent me straight to a hospital when it isn’t necessary, he simply does not listen. I have decided to go elsewhere as this is a waste of time. I have also decided to make a formal complaint. Please beware, there is a rather unethical and professional doctor here- I’m not talking about Dr Plunkket who has 1940s catholic notions about contraception, it’s ANOTHER one. One bad experience is not good enough, let alone two.

Really professional and caring team. They provide a full range of services in a friendly and efficient manner. I fully trust them with our health and well being. I've tried other clinics but could not better the Dundas Street team. They've been looking after our family for 17 years now.

The doctors are quite good. The front staff and the wait times are ridiculous. Don't even dream about turning up without an appointment, the staff will turn you away. Rude. And unhelpful. Disappointing and I think a staff turnover would be good for the clinic.

Just cancelled my appointment at this due to poor customer care. I called at around 3: 30PM on 08/07/19 and despite giving me a appointment time and date the operator seemed she was rushed and hung up on me without answering my queries. I called the same day at roughly 4.45PM to cancel and there was no answer. I would like to clarify to the management that we as your clients call for your services and not your attitude or ignorance. Don't recommend this medical service.

Feel free to cross reference my records with your database for the appointment of Max Gunasinghe. Sincerely wish you guys improve your service. Good luck.
