Dumplings Plus

This place will always be my go to place for Chinese takeout. Tried the pork dumplings in chili oil today and it was delicious. Huge portions priced reasonably.

I'm a dumpling expert, however I wish I had a menu in front of me as I wanted to talk more about the eggplant dish. It is more than a hidden gem. I made a pledge to eat there once a week for the next three weeks. Happy to expand on Zin's hospitality.

Cold Noodle nice, flavourful and goes very well with the roast duck.
Roast duck isn’t the best quality in terms of flavour or the way it’s roasted but, it’s tender, fatty and moist. (some roast duck is just dry and tough)
Overall, value for money place, quality is reasonably good!

We love dumplings plus? And we’re so grateful that they were open during lockdown. We visited several times and this was the first place we visited out of lockdown. We always order the honey pepper chicken ribs. The honey pepper chicken ribs are amazing and either honey chicken with rice or gyoza.

Roast meat (Shaola) is really terrible… poor quality…I think the Roasted duck has been reheated many many times.it is not fresh. BBQ Pork is a little bit better.

However, its spicy meals are great, it deserves a try!

It is not recommended to take away Pineapple fried rice because it only has three small pineapple pieces. And the rice I don't know how to describe.too terrible for my dinner.it's not a pineapple friend Rice

Ordered wonton noodles for delivery and it was ok. Good won ton and portion size. The egg noodles were overcooked so it was soggy and too soft. The soup was tasty and not too salty.

Atmospheres quite nice and so was the food and decent pricing. Staff were pleasant and courteous which is a rare find in chinese eateries.

Love it! Service was nice, food was a lot! Always ask their staff of how plenty is the portion is if you're visiting for the first time.

Been there for the first time, excellent and quick service. Tried honey chicken, noodles and spicy prawns. They were so spicy that we had to end our meal with honey chicken. Totally unexpected. Overall worth to give it a try. Will surely go there again for chickem noodles. They were superb.

Dumplings Plus on Swanson street is great! Yum, cheap food! For x3 serves of different dumplings, some drinks and fried rice it was about $50 bucks. Excellent value and the staff were attentive and nice, and the service was quick.

Very rude.poor way of talking to customers. We had to leave because of the managers absolutely uphauling behavior. Will never visit here again!

The buns are very delicious. At first I thought the taste would be very strange, because it contained salted egg yolk, but it turned out to be fantastic OMG. The duck is also very good, it's just that for me personally I prefer if the duck is cooked longer. Not forgetting I also ordered their milk tea very good. You have to try it. I will definitely be back again!

Excellent BYO option. Shanghai soup dumplings excellent, Kung Pao chicken great and trainee staff member, Wendy, an attribute to the venue.

Food is amazing, but twice I ordered via uber eats and didn't recieve chopsticks (despite putting chopsticks in the notes!). Not happy.

The worst meal I had and this is the first review that I ad to made and let people know it, the menu is pretty but once you seat down and looked at it, there s a tone of white sticker covered which is “unavailable items”? Bao and dim sum are not fresh made there all from frozen pack? Crispy pork is tasteless, fat, soggy! Which one of the staff told us is was the left over from yesterday, and she knows it and I’m not the first customer who tellin her! Why give leftover food to your customers? Definitely not coming back! Need inspection!

Absolutely love this restaurant, it is one of my go to’s in Melbourne CBD. Every menu item I have tried has been amazing and their Kung pao chicken is the best I’ve ever had

(just ordered from deliveroo) I used to believe that even ordinary dumplings could be good, but this place has proved me wrong. Easily the worst, insipid dumplings I have ever eaten. Just awful.

A lovely clean restaurant with efficient customer service. Comfortable place where people by themselves ate lunch.
Delicious dumpling and noodle soup plus a healthy tea brew made for a delightful lunch.
My young grandchild was catered for with a small cutlery set! Melamine dishes and cups are great for dining with children:)
